Morning,,another below zero morning. Up to 4 now!

I did 2 workouts from On Demand today and they were not great! Both lower body and lots of lunging and squats, some planks. Just kind of boring voices and not great. I thought maybe in January On Demand would put out some new workouts but nope!

Drying clothes in the dryer now and have to take my shower...then I got nothin...which is fine by me {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}If it gets warmer I can take Logan to the trail on my snow shoes but it has to be warmer for his paws.

Welcome Ripkafan good to see you here and we love reading everyones workouts and it inspires us to keep each other going.

Stay warm everyone!

This is worth the time to watch...what an inspiration. They were talking about her this morning while we were holding a ""3-minute"" plank at the gym.

Watch until the end so you can see her ""planking"".

Man! I won't spoil it. Everyone needs to watch Patty's video. Heck ya! Even with the purple thing - ha.

Didn't get enough sleep yesterday, so did a 40 minute tae-bo cardio in case I have to crash for a nap. No wonder I love tai-chi, I was doing it and didn't know. Figures! I have better form now too. All good.

OK, all the regulars here turn away from the screen now. Go do some push-ups or something. Ripkafan, speaking as a newbie here myself, these guys are awesome. Motivational, non-judgmental. Welcome!

The regulars can look back now. Don't need you getting no big heads or nothing.

Pretty thrilled from the classes yesterday. First class small, the second bigger and the last class had 7 dogs in -1` temps. Yeah, yeah. Some new people and some of my hardy regular favorites. My kids here are going stir-crazy bopper. Good reminder, I need to make sure I stretch those shepherds out today. It's getting warmer. Nomless, I like the workouts that make me smile or laugh sometime during them. Everybody's different, but maybe give that a shot? Your body would probably like the change up. Maybe, I don't know. The opinion from a spaz.

FUTURE, another inspiration, keep it up. Stray & Tony, how are you doing? Judy? Terrier and was there a Dagna? Post in and let everyone know how you're all doing. Great workout for your husband Patty (and you & Lucy, as pretty much always). I'm still working on my stupid shoulder, but it is getting better. Those stupid shoulders are pretty important, hope he gets his turned around too.

Enough blabbing. Everyone have a great day.

The video: so cool! Thanks for posting it, Patty. I want to be that lady. Her success is so encouraging.

Hi, Canine, I bet you had fun with the pups yesterday.

Hi, Bopper, I hope you get warmer weather very soon.

I got another DVD program yesterday. I might give it a try tonight. I think it might be too easy.

Hi Everyone, Welcome ripkafan! The weather continues to be crazy- we had a 40 degree difference in 2 days at the beginning of the week and we are heading there again. It was 8 yesterday, 20 today and heading to 50 for Saturday. I'll take whatever as long as no blizzards! I was barely fitting LS in this week but started Jillian today. Hopefully I will not be interrupted again. Other than that, I have nothing going on- a nice low key week. Bopper- you know I am rooting for the Patriots! I hope everyone had a great day with another one tomorrow!

Hi, all!! Work has just been straight crazy this week. It's like I get home and don't even know what just happened for 8 hrs, and Monday seems like it was 2 weeks ago! Lol!! Was so sore from Monday and Tuesday, all I ended up doing was the bike at home (nothing crazy, just "going"!!) the past two nights. I've been crampy and junky feeling, but should be good by tmrw. Makes me excited for Saturday am workout. Patty, thanks for sharing that video. If I planked for 35 minutes, you can guarantee I would've had to have been in a state of nirvana or something. A 1 minute plank makes me cringe!! Probably something I should work on more, huh? Ok, I need to fold some laundry (So. Much. Fun.). You guys have a great Friday!!

Wow! All of you should watch Patty's video. That woman is amazing.

I've been sick all week. Today, Thursday, is the first day my voice has sounded close to normal. Worked all week but stayed home today. Just couldn't go in. Didn't feel that I had the strength. So I've slept off and on and didn't use my voice at all until my DD called to see how I was doing. It's not that I feel sick, I just had no voice and now I have no strength at all. Whatever it is that I caught has really knocked it out of me.

Everyone is doing really well with their workouts! So hope I can find the motivation again once I'm sure I'm well and over this whatever it is.

GO NINERS!!

Judy

Hi ladies! Nomless,Bopper,Tony14-thanks for the welcome!

Patty-thanks for the welcome and it's great to be posting with a Ripkanista! I have cut way back on my purchasing(only bought 2 pieces last year whereas I used to buy 2 or 3 pieces each visit) Still wear her jewelry daily.

Canine-thanks for the welcome and kind words fellow newbie!

Didn't make it to my class today-my 6 year old was home from school. Was really sore from yesterdays workout so just did some squats, lunges, and played "Just Dance" with my 11 year old on his Wii-he was cracking up at my 80's music choices like "what a feeling" from Flashdance and "99 Luft Balloons LOL!

Have a great night!

I love her entire story, in the foster homes and being told she wasn't good enough...she truly is an inspiration.

Judy, I had a feeling you were knocked on your butt! I know a few people that have it and can't shake it, they think they're feeling better one day but then the next day they are down and out again. Glad you are amongst the living again!!

nomless, she sure is encouraging! What videos did you get?

FUTURE, I've been straight crazy this week too...oh, your work...okay, gotcha.Wink{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

canine, I need some help with Lucy!! Our fireplace makes a big boom after you turn it off, now she's afraid of the fireplace and practically has a panic attack every time I turn it on!

tony, same here...below zero to 50* this weekend! There will be a ton of illness going around. It's an icy mess here today, school and work delays all over the place.

bopper, you are on the previous page...lol...sorry! I know you're warming up a little so Logan will be happy about that!

ripkafan, I have slowed way down too, for more than one reason. I used to buy every new piece she came out with(if I liked it of course), sometimes in multiple colors.{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} I have quite the collection and it's a pain in the rear to move every time we move. I had to buy 2 large trunks to move it all in and we have to take it with us because the movers won't pack it. Lets just say dh isn't a fan...lol!!!

Oh..my workout. Disclaimer - feel free not to read if you're bored with my work-out detail...lol. Yesterday's class was tough...my abs are so sore but the rest of me is getting more used to it again. I used 20lb dumb-bells for chest and we did push-ups off the Boso ball but I'm not sore there at all. Trying to decide if I should go back this morning or wait until tomorrow morning...my shoulders and arms are just a little sore.

I loved the cardio segment again(I know you all are probably bored with me telling what we do, but this one was similar to the last one I really liked but anyone can do this with their work-out whether it be run(or walk)-bike, run(or walk)-elliptical,etc., so I'll share...we did .5 on the treadmill at "push-phase"(not all-out but not real easy), then 500 meters on rower...treadmill .4 then rower for 400 meters...treadmill .3, rower 300 meters, etc. So I guess it was 1.5 miles on treadmill and 1.5 on rower.

That part went by really fast...the strength/weights/compound move part, etc., not-so-much...lol! {#emotions_dlg.blink}{#emotions_dlg.laugh} It was hard, I own it! I love those jumping-jacks and burpees because they're a break for me!

Sorry I'm so long-winded this morning!!
