Never been a prisoner. We do have a mask mandate only if a business requires it and not many do except Doctor and Dentist. Have been on vacation with family last summer and the summer before but didn't hang around with any big crowds of people (not that we saw any).

@proudlyfromNJ  The beginning of this discussion was based upon my concern for friends who were confined to an assisted living facility. Their confinement was dictated by medical issues and not their choice. At times they do feel like prisoners. If they did have a choice I'm sure they would go for a walk, or a drive or visit friends. 

 

I had no idea how controlling these facilities are over day to day activites of the residents.

 

I know them well and they do pray. Prayers won't restore his memory nor will it restore her mobility. I'm glad she told me she was sad. After hearing from all of you, I think we can help boh of them.
