Gloriajean, if you look up "CBD" (the ingredient you are looking for in the Hemp Oil, instead of "hemp oil" you will find lots of threads about products that might help- I have had good results with CBD

Interestingly enough, I just found out that not all Hemp oil preparations even CONTAIN CBD..

I thoguht hemp oil was the same as CBD, but according to one of the retailers who sells on Amazon, it is not... He said Amazon does not sell CBD preparations, only Hemp oil Preparations...though when you do a search for "CBD oil" on Amazon, lots of products pop up...

They don't seem to work, not for him nor my daughter. Sad, we were so hopeful. He does go to a chiropractor and PT. My daughter's EDS is really hurting her alot.

@gloriajean  you might try another form of medical marijuana ,if it is legal where your live

Just because it has been used as a recreational drug by some, I wouldn't let that get in the way ,of the possibility it might help their pain

My husband is getting better!! Praise God!  Instead of 4 iboprofins 3 times a day, he's down to two times a day, with less pain.  The Sciatic nerver area doesn't seem to bother as much as his left knee.  He went to the chiropractor this morning who wants him to come every two weeks, and he said his hip was a little off, so he adjusted it, and said that could cause pain in the knee.  He's putting heat on his back and knee about twice a day.  He is improving, and doesn't notice the difference with not have the hemp pills anymore and they are expensive. Tomorrow is PT again.  She is very impressed with his progress and she is convinced he won't need surgery!!
