I recently had a back crown pop off while flossing and it went right down my throat before I could catch it ! Now I've lost it, and have to have another made to replace it . 😢

Oh yes I'm a fanatic about flossing! Gotta do it every chance I get! There must be something to it because they now include the question (do you floss daily?) on my yearly physical form.

My DH once told me that I didn't have to floss all my teeth !  Only the ones I wanted to keep !!  That pretty much sealed the deal for me.

I brush my teeth every time I eat.  These are new bridges top and bottom and I never feel comfortable about food getting under them after I eat anything.  I also use the WaterPik twice a day (on "low") with Listerine added to the water.  I can't floss because they are attached together vertically very tightly.

My girls tell me I'm obsessed with my teeth.  I guess I am, I spent enough money getting them put in last year.

Just two weeks ago I had major pain in a crown eating sometimes with nothing showing on x-ray.  Finally the Dentist said wait I think the crown moved a little.  Sure enough that was my sporadic pain when top tooth hit that lower crown sometimes.  There was a bit of decay under the crown and if it happened to move then hit that decay it was like fire in my mouth.  The Dentist almost stop looking for a problem since the movement was so slight.  Took off the crown cleaned up the tooth and put it back.  No shot no deadening and can eat again without fear.  But yes decay can get under a crown.

I can't stand flossing. I use a waterpik instead. Dentist says that is fine.My gums are healthy.

I bought a water pink but it made such a mess when using it....water all over the place. I never seemed to be able to use it without spraying all aver the place!

Yes!  I can't imagine not flossing.

And I also switched from a manual toothbrush to a good sonic toothbruth (Phillips Sonicare).  What a huge difference that made.  I get very little, if any of buildout of plaque on my teeth.  It was the best investment I made.

I also have all of my own teeth - and I plan to keep them all Smiley Happy

Yes both DH & I floss multiple times daily.  We use those floss picks. We buy them at Dollar Tree.
