I recently purchased this but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I've lost a lot of weight and need to firm up and this seemed like a good idea. I don't want to lose anymore weight. Anyone have this and what are your thoughts? Any better ideas? There is a brand net YMCA down the road from me maybe just working with weights would do the trick.

I have the BodyBlade and I like it because it's easy, convenient and a good way to have a quick strength-building workout. Just grab it and go (once you get the hang of it). Five minutes later you will feel your arms and core tighter- It's good but a little pricey.

My husband bought that about a year ago and I've never seen him use it. Maybe I'll try it. It looks useless, though.

I have arthritis and it seemed to bother my wrists... so I gave it to good will.

Looks like a good workout for the arms tho and that is one of areas I need it.

I bought the body blade a very long time ago when the therapist initially presented it on QVC. I think he has been full circle on all the home shopping channels and now back where he started. The body blade back then (probably 12-15 or more years ago) was only about $10 less than it is now, if I remember correctly. Of all the exercise equipment I had bought, this is the only one I have kept (except I still have a Pilates Performer in the garage, that hasn't sold at any of the yard sales thru the years). The body blade looks like new so it doesn't wear out, has no parts to to become loose, doesn't take up any room to store it, and when I use it, I get good results. So, to me it has been the best value of all the fitness equipment I ever purchased. I spent hundreds on various pieces of equipment after using for a few months, then hanging clothes on them then eventually selling for as little as $20 to have more room in my closets. Now every new year or pre-beach season, I pull my good old trusty body blade out and spend a few minutes every day or so for a while. It can provide great results with minimal time and effort especially for exercise haters like me. Now if they could package and sell something to make me love exercise and so I would do it consistently!

I've used a Body Blade under the supervision of a physical therapy. For each of my shoulder and back surgeries this gizmo was incorporated into my rehab. A long time ago when Body Blade had their first run on QVC I bought one for home, but after pt rehab rarely used it. As I became stronger, I felt that I got more benefit from using bands and cords. Eventually, I passed the Body Blade on to a friend.

Mine is still in the box. Not sure if I will ever use it. Since you mentioned it perhaps I will open it and see what it does. I did mention it to my ""exercise hubby"" who wanted no part of it.
