I mix a fruit/veg greens powder, mushroom powder, some mineral powders, vitamin C powder, silicon dioxide powder and matcha powder into about 12 ounces of water.  Not exactly tasty but it has what I want in it.

I take it mainly for immune health but there are other benefits such as for brain function, gut health and antioxidant protection.

I tried mushroom coffee. It does NOT come close to tasting like coffee to my taste buds. Didn't like the taste at all. Gave it to a friend who also said ick, and so I tossed it.

Gosh, this reminds me of the time my mom bought a jar of Postum and insisted that my brother and I try it because thats what they drank during WWII.  BTW, my mom was a kid during WWII although both her mother and grandmother were hard-core coffee drinkers, so I have no doubt she grew up hearing them complain about it and probably drinking some herself.  

Postum was nasty as double-hockey sticks and the idea of mushroom coffee gives me those same vibes.  Yuck!
