Re: Anyone Try Mushroom Coffee?

My husband drinks this.  He said it took a few cups to get used to the flavor but now he says it tastes just like coffee to him.  He is definently less bloated in his stomach area and says he just overall feels better.

It is very expensive though but if it works for him then we will continue to purchase.  I tasted it and thought I was drinking dirt, LOL.

Re: Anyone Try Mushroom Coffee?

I tried Ryze coffee but I found that it didn't completely dissolve and I of course used hot water.  Also, like regular coffee I have to add milk and my preference is choc milk....lame I know but that's the only way I can stomach the taste.  When you add that I'tm of the belief that it negates any of its claims.  I don't really trust the brand anyway (besides the fact that I couldn't get it to completely dissolve) and so stopped ordering it.

Haven't seen the mushroom coffee, but have seen mushroom tea.  Bought a sample once and too chicken to try it. Gave it to the granddaughter.

@SilleeMee   I'm interested.  I can't drink coffee but I do eat mushrooms every single day.  I might try this.  What brand do you recommend???  Thanks!

Re: Anyone Try Mushroom Coffee?

There's a thread or two about this. If you just put in "mushroom" in the search bar you will see what others thought. The idea of it just makes me nauseous.

Re: Anyone Try Mushroom Coffee?

@BarbiHollywood I tried Ryze out of curiosity and added to my regular coffee; I liked it cuz it added more body to the coffee and was easier to digest.  I have influx issues and get heartburn a lot.  It didn't changed the flavor of my coffee nor does it tastes like mushrooms.  I think it's a required taste.

Re: Anyone Try Mushroom Coffee?

I'm not a coffee fan to begin with. In fact I don't really like hot drinks except hot chocolate. The only coffee I like are the frufru coffees with ice and flavored creams. The thought of mushroom coffee just sounds gross. I don't like mushrooms either.

Re: Anyone Try Mushroom Coffee?

I've read about it and have considered trying it but have not done so yet.  There are MANY of them out there and not all are equal and some have better reviews than others.

Some of the claimed benefits:

Enhanced Energy & Focus, Reduced Inflammation, Improved Gut Health, Boosted Immune System, Improved Mood/Reduced Stress.

I might try this since Ryze is a coffee and I feel like this would be more beneficial.
