my apoligies for not answering.  I do still have trouble keeping things straight here and seeing and then answering.

I hope to have an answer after the neuro opt on Feb 6th.

My update.

 

I have a condition Adie's ...  It is viral and will never go away.  There are RX drops that can make my eye look better but I passed on them.

 

The pain and swelling were from a bought of Trigeminal neurgla which I have had for years and this was a new and scary symptom.

 

Thank you to everyone who wrote to me and offered experiences and opinions.  I am very grateful and I hope I can do the same for others here.

 

The doctor I saw today in Tucson was the nicest I've ever seen so I have alot to be thankful for.
