@CWS22 wrote:Comparing last year's Maximum Omega 3 product (I still have my bottle) to this year's product (you can view the new bottle label on the site), it looks like all the levels of nutrients and oils have been reduced by nearly 20%. So how does that make it better?
Comparison of labels is as follows (based on serving size of 2 capsules).
Fish oil: 1,150 mg last year vs. 970 mg this year
Total Omega-3 fatty acids: 1,000 mg last year vs. 800 mg this year
DHA: 450 mg last year vs. 400 mg this year
EPA: 350 mg last year vs. 280 mg this year
DPA: 50 mg last year vs. 40 mg this year
Alpha-linolenic acid: 100 mg last year vs. 80 mg this year
@CWS22 This is what I found from the current TS label on HSN for 2 softgels
Last year 1,150 mg last year vs. 1,210 mg. this year (100 mg more this year)
Total Omega-3 fatty acids: 1,000 last year vs. 1,000 this year (same for both)
DHA: 450 mg. last year vs. 500 mg. this year (more this year)
EPA: 350 mg. last year vs. 350 mg. this year (same for both)
DPA: 50 mg. last year vs. 50 mg. this year (same for both)
Alpha-linolenic acid: 100 mg. last year vs. 100 mg. this year (same for both)
I can't see much difference between last year and what is shown on HSN for the current TS on HSN's web site. Did you take those values from some other web site?

What a great idea!
To write directly on the bottle the date of purchase and price!
Why didn’t I think of that?💗

I agree! I have only been writing the date I open a container on it. I’ll continue that but purchase date and price will also help. I won’t have to look in my email to see the receipt when I wonder.

Great price on the cookbook - $4.90!
I am NOT getting it (said firmly to self). I’ve got all the others and, while I enoughed reading them and looking at the pictures, I don’t enjoy cooking enough to use recipes. I keep my food pretty simple. Good deal for those that enough trying new recipes though...
