PFFTTTT! I just spit out my Monday morning lemon water reading this! You are kidding, yes? So funny!

As far as the flavor of the Marine Collagen, to me, (I fix it for a FM and have tasted it) it is more smell than taste. If you hold your nose, no taste. It reminds me of two things from my childhood: cleaning the dirty aquarium, and trying unflavored gelatin, which back then was supposedly good for fingernails.

If you squeeze half a lemon in water with the collegen, it covers up the taste. Or as I do, mix it in with my FM's fresh juice. Or bottled juice, whatever. No big deal, it's worth it for the nutrition you get. - Bird

That's a good idea. I'm on waitlist and look forward to trying it. I'm going to stock up on both lemons and limes.

I wouldn't say he uses scare tactics per se but he's trying to sell a lot of vitamins and supplements we don't necessarily need nor should we be taking. If everyone fell for everything he was selling, you'd be taking hundreds of supplements a day. Do you know how hard all these supplements are on the liver?

One is far better off getting the vitamins and supplements they need through the foods they eat rather than popping more supplements.

As for cholestrol? Are you kidding me that it's good for us? High cholestrol is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke. The body needs some cholestrol but too much of it causes plaque to form in your arteries.

I will listen to see when they say he will be on again after the last show.

Now that he has the studio in Henderson, I think he will be on more, especially for things like Host Pick where he is presenting just one or 2 products.

I ordered a small (30 day) Marine Collagen to see if I like it. He said he might do a bundle in July with it as part of the TS, so I don't want to buy a lot if he's going to offer a good price on it.

For some reason I am highly curious about this product.

I ordered the marine supplement as well a week or two ago. It must have sold out because delivery is not expected until February. I really like Andrew's supplements and can feel the difference when I do not take them.

I just started on the Marine Collagen product last weekend and have been taking it every day. I really don't like the taste of it at all. I know he says it has no taste or that the taste is "flat" but I think it's pretty bad. Of course I'm just mixing it in plain water. If you made smoothies every day you might be able to disguise it in that.

I just wish he would make this product in a liquid gelcap, like his fish oil & vitamin E caps. Why not I wonder?

I ordered it last night. Good to know he might do a special in July, i was hoping he would.

BTW, in my stores I can purchase little bags of organic lemons. They are thinner skinned and MUCH juicier than the big-brand-named lemons. I wash them with Dawn detergent, dry, and store in a Ziploc bag in my "meat" drawer. They don't last as long as the brand name, but are so worth the price in the juiciness. - Bird

The only thing I wanted to buy this time was his Turmeric-Ginger but I thought even at the TS price, it was overpriced. So I skipped AL altogether this visit, I am so proud of myself.

I love AL stuff, trustworthy source IMO. If only he was more affordable, I would be taking truck loads of vitamins like some of the hosts. I hope he keeps the Marine Collagen powder option; capsules will most definitely be more expensive. I wish he had a soy-free women's wellness product. It was at a great price this visit. After much debate/reading, I didn't purchase it. Just didn't want to consume soy as a supplement and add to my hormonal woes{#emotions_dlg.crying}

My order shows as shipped but delivery is 2/26 Smiley Sad

I ended up buying a natural food/organic version of V8. I think this will hide the taste quite well.

I'll let you know when I try it.

re organic lemons

This is true for just about every organic fruit. I just polished off a bag of organic grapefruits. I used to like grapefruit a lot, but organic is so over the top wonderfully flavorful and sweet. No bitterness that needs to be covered in sugar.

I tried ALs product last year and it didn't do much. I talked with my Dr about what might help my arthritis and his recommendation was to find a product that has glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and hyaluronic acid. I did that and that's the ticket.

Thanks, will try too.

My Marine Collagen came today. It truly has no smell. I stuck my nose right in the jar. I also tasted some of the powder. It's not bitter or sour or anything. It certainly isn't fishy as so many reviews stated.

I added it to about 3 oz of vegetable juice. It's harder to mix in something that thick, but I used a mini drink whisk and it blended fine.

I am going to try it with just water tomorrow morning and see what it's like.
