I think with the C&VS he said that he held capsules back to be able to package in the quantities needed, so the pills are ready to go, they just have to go in the bottle and ship.

He mentioned that at one point but I think they'd have shipped already if that were the case with mine. Mine are not scheduled to ship until February 19th.

Tumeric/curcumin has real difficulty being utilized by our bodies in the capsule form. For that reason I have started using a product by the name of metacurcumin 200 from Rev Genetics. My neuropathy in my feet is gone and my arthritis symptoms in my hands has totally subsided after taking this product for only two weeks.

This powerful yellow spice has been used in ancient Ayurvedic medicine for more than 2,000 years. Emerging evidence shows that curcumin may be all you need to help ensure:
inflammation is one of the key signs that cancer could be developing in your body. But research shows that curcumin puts the brakes on inflammation before it can gain a foothold. Full article here: http://www.newportnaturalhealth.com/2014/11/curcumin-prevents-cancer/
another huge benefit that cropped up in a second human clinical trial: daily curcumin supplements were found to increase HDL (good) cholesterol and reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides at the same time.
If you know of a prescription drug that can achieve all that, let me know, because I’m not aware of any substance with such remarkable health benefits.
Curcumin does much more than manage blood sugar, though. It’s a proven pain-reliever, outstanding antioxidant, and fights inflammation, one of the key causes of most diseases. more info: http://www.newportnaturalhealth.com/2014/10/control-blood-sugar-with-curcumin/
Turmeric, derived from the plant Curcuma longa, is a gold-colored spice commonly used in the Indian subcontinent, not only for health care but also for the preservation of food and as a yellow dye for textiles. Curcumin, which gives the yellow color to turmeric, was first isolated almost two centuries ago, and its structure as diferuloylmethane was determined in 1910. Since the time of Ayurveda (1900 Bc) numerous therapeutic activities have been assigned to turmeric for a wide variety of diseases and conditions, including those of the skin, pulmonary, and gastrointestinal systems, aches, pains, wounds, sprains, and liver disorders. Extensive research within the last half century has proven that most of these activities, once associated with turmeric, are due to curcumin. Curcumin has been shown to exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and anticancer activities and thus has a potential against various malignant diseases, diabetes, allergies, arthritis, Alzheimer's disease, and other chronic illnesses. These effects are mediated through the regulation of various transcription factors, growth factors, inflammatory cytokines, protein kinases, and other enzymes. Curcumin exhibits activities similar to recently discovered tumor necrosis factor blockers (e.g., HUMIRA, REMICADE, and ENBREL), a vascular endothelial cell growth factor blocker (e.g., AVASTIN), human epidermal growth factor receptor blockers (e.g., ERBITUX, ERLOTINIB, and GEFTINIB), and a HER2 blocker (e.g., HERCEPTIN). Considering the recent scientific bandwagon that multitargeted therapy is better than monotargeted therapy for most diseases, curcumin can be considered an ideal “Spice for Life.”
Currently available treatments for osteoarthritis (OA) are restricted to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which exhibit numerous side effects and are only temporarily effective. Thus novel, safe and more efficacious anti-inflammatory agents are needed for OA. Naturally occurring polyphenolic compounds, such as curcumin and resveratrol, are potent agents for modulating inflammation

That is a long time, but I wonder if they had to wait to package them after they packaged the other TSVs. I don't know if he's ever had 3 TSV in 3 weeks before. That's a lot of product.
It doesn't seem like a very large facility as they do the Secure Meal on the same machine as the Marine Collagen.

I've been trying to find information on ginger and turmeric since yesterday and there aren't a lot of definitive studies on it, so I think that's why he can't spend too much time on these because there isn't a large body of research that supports claims other than anti-inflammatory.
He keeps talking about the tens of thousands of research studies on the G&C.

I have transitioned to a Primal eating lifestyle, so Oatmeal is out for me, but it's definitely interesting.
<br /> He also said he makes skin care as a hobby. Colleen got all excited because she wanted him to bring it to HSN but he said it's just something he dabbles in.
I'd be interested in hearing about what he makes for skincare.
Not interested in any grains since I no longer eat them either. I will say, if I was going to add one back, I'd want it to be steel cut oats. But that is not going to happen.
...The whole cholesterol topic is a wasted discussion since it is all based on a theory that is known to be wrong. cholesterol is not bad (it is important to our health) & does not cause heart disease.
Yes, and the body makes it whether we eat cholesterol or not. I happen to think that the body would make more if someone were to be too restrictive in their diet regarding this.

I have been taking curcumin with bioperene, which aids in absorption, for years. I buy it at Vitacost.

PFFTTTT! I just spit out my Monday morning lemon water reading this! You are kidding, yes? So funny!
As far as the flavor of the Marine Collagen, to me, (I fix it for a FM and have tasted it) it is more smell than taste. If you hold your nose, no taste. It reminds me of two things from my childhood: cleaning the dirty aquarium, and trying unflavored gelatin, which back then was supposedly good for fingernails.
If you squeeze half a lemon in water with the collegen, it covers up the taste. Or as I do, mix it in with my FM's fresh juice. Or bottled juice, whatever. No big deal, it's worth it for the nutrition you get. - Bird

re scare tactics
Unless you define scare tactics as reminding us we're all aging and our joints are aging, I don't hear scare tactics.
Scare tactics to me are when I take a GNeil webinar on labor law posters and they start every call talking about how your CEO is going to go to jail if your labor law posters are out of date or missing.
I just roll my eyes. In the history of labor law posting, no CEO has ever gone to jail because of a missing poster. Missing money, sure. Missing posters? Nope.

Personally, I appreciate the frequency of Andrew's visits. I am usually out of something. I do think his products are very high quality. Currently using the Secure meal replacement product and already lost 3 lbs. after four days. I think that's a pretty good start.
I do think if someone wants to accuse Andrew of "scare tactics" you should elaborate on exactly what those are. I find his presentations very educational.
