Is it my imagination or is he talking mostly about G&C? I want to hear him talk about the Turmeric/Ginger & haven't heard him do more than mention that supplement in passing.

The Sulfate form is the one that has the positive studies. Also, this formula has magnesium stearate which is used as a lubricant so that the machines filling the capsules don't stick. I like the fact that AL's products don't contain this.
I've used knock-off brands and I've used AL's and I just don't see the same good effects with the knock-offs. As to Andrew using scare tactics....really? I've never seen a vendor with a more calm, pleasant demeanor. He just presents the facts from research and reads reviews.
AL's Maximum Joint effort does contain MSM and turmeric.
But, Lessmans still is made from shellfish. I have read this can significantly raise cholesterol levels. I feel much safer taking a vegan formula, even if it is not quite as potent, the benffits outweigh the risks for me.
I just did a Google search does shellfish raise cholesterol & no that's not true. The shellfish you eat may raise it from adding all the butter or tartar sauce. His products may cost a little more but are worth it since they contain no fillers & they are not tablets.
Not so, I just read an interesting article on The People's Pharmacy about many finding their chol to take a big hike when on this supplement. As soon as they stop it, goes back down considerably. Shellfish is naturally high in cholesterol, my Mom's doctor told her that years ago. Has nothing to do with butter or sauce.

FYI, Puritans Pride does make a formula that is Gluc. Sulfate, just saw it on their site.

No error. I login with my username & password & click on enter & it does not do anything. I wanted to look at my history.

I've been on auto ship of joint effort plus for years. Convinced it has helped me. I'm pretty well stocked on his turmeric but still thinking about turmeric/ginger.

I read on several sites where it says this is not true.
Misconceptions
Shellfish is often avoided by many because of the misconception that it raises bad cholesterol levels. According to a study at the University of Washington, shellfish pose no danger to cholesterol levels. This study found that some of the most commonly eaten shellfish, including oysters, crabs, clams, shrimp and mussels, showed no evidence of raising cholesterol levels. Crab and clams actually lowered the LDL levels (bad cholesterol). Mussels and oysters also lowered LDL, while raising HDLs. Fish and seafood contain a small amount of cholesterol, but are also rich in healthy, unsaturated fat and low in saturated fat, the type of fat that tends to raise blood cholesterol.

I just checked and had no trouble logging in to my account and checking my history. Perhaps clearing your cache might help? Just in case it's a browser issue, I use firefox.

This is a good suggestion. Clear it & then close/reopen your browser. That usually helps.

I'd rather pay a bit more for the quality he offers & get no fillers in my supplements. Not everyone is that picky. It is nice that we have more than one option when it comes to supplements.
Finally, the voices of reason! I agree 100% and you need to compare apples to apples, I find you usually get what you pay for. I would rather pay more for quality ingredients, since you only get one chance to care for the body you were given! ![]()
