Andrew seems to really want to talk about QVC. I think it's hard for the hosts to adjust to the mindset of acknowledging QVC after all the years of pretending it didn't exist.
I didn't know that Colleen was on CVN. I knew she was from Minnesota and I thought she knew MaryBeth Roe from being at the same tv station back in the day (and maybe they knew each other there, too).

I thought it seemed really strange, too. A lot of people aren't going to know about the latest happenings and now, after all these years, he's talking about QVC. I don't even know WHY he's throwing the QVC talk into it.

I was one of the ones who didn't get a cookbook with a TS several years ago so I was happy to see this bundled.
I have the Holiday cookbook, which I like.
He said on the online show that he wants her to do an anti-inflammatory-type cookbook next.
OK, now I'm getting upset with Andrew! He obviously just wants me to collect cookbooks I'm unlikely ever to use!
lol
I have all of their other cookbooks and tried only one recipe. I don't enjoy cooking (I cook well, just simply) and almost never use recipes. But an anti-inflammatory cokkbook would probably be irresistible!

@VaBelle35, several years ago I heard a radio interview with Colleen. How she got her start in tv was very interesting.
During that interview she said that when QVC bought CVN, she was let go and she was devastated.

@Lipstickdiva Yes Colleen & Mary Beth were both on CVN the same time. Skip on Evine was also on CVN around the same time.
I think Andrew's sales will probably go up once offered on QVC. I bought them when Q sold them.

I think Judy Crowell and maybe Kendy Kleopfer were also on CVN together.
I had a long talk last week with one of Lessmans CS reps, she said he left the Q because they cut him short on time, and he felt he could never give a proper explanation to his products. Last night Colleen referred to the Q as their sister network.

There is a backstory between AL and QVC. He was blogging about them seven years ago, saying some not so nice things about Nature Code. QVC filed suit against him. There are several things online to read about this for more specifics.
There is obviously no love lost for QVC on his part. That's why I'll be curious how his comments will go. I still say, I don't know why he'd even start talking about QVC. It just sounds so odd. I doubt others will do the same at HSN.

Last night with Colleen he even made the comment that when he was on the Q he would do his presentations seated, not standing as he does on HSN. He seems to like bringing up the Q. When Q sold Nature's Code he would do product and price comparisons on HSN.

The owners are different now, so I'm sure any bad feelings from either of them over their leaving QVC are more directed at the previous management.
For Andrew, he is very giddy about this business transaction. As a businessman, I am sure he is looking at this from a business perspective and as a vendor. Maybe, some of the things he wants to do and HSN is resistant to he thinks QVC will do.
I think he's making his case that he would love to be welcomed back with open arms.
I believe QVC no longer has Nature's Code so it's possible it's a good time to expand.

Well I spoke too soon.
Suzanne Somers has her supplements already available on the Q.
This should be interesting.
