Re: Andrew Lessman - July 2017 schedule

[ Edited ]

Andrew's TS for July 16th, 2017 (today) is his Marine Collagen Peptides (MCP) w/ 500mg MSM. -- It's the same as his regular Marine Collagen Peptides formula with a bonus of 500mg MSM. -- All purchases today have free S&H.

Sunday, July 16 - Today's Special

________________________________________

Marine Collagen w/MSM

________________________________________

12:00 AM - 2:00 AM

12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Note: If you'd like to watch the noon-2pm ET HSN show, you can still do that by going to the HSN site and clicking on the "Watch" option which is in the top righthand corner of the main page of their website. The online video always goes back for the past four hours (so you can still watch the noon-2pm ET show today from the beginning pu until 4pm ET today).

Monday, July 17

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

* TV listings for Eastern Time

___

Below is a price comparison chart for the Today's Special size options of MCP w/ MSM (in RED print)... versus both a) the MCP w/ 500mg MSM sizes NOT on special offer today, as well as b) the regular MCP formula (without the MSM):

* 30 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM -- $21.90

* 30 scoops MCP -- $22.90

* 60 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM -- $44.90

* 60 scoops MCP -- $39.90

* 90 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM -- $59.90

* 120 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM -- $79.90

* 120 scoops MCP -- $69.90

* 180 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM -- $94.90

* 240 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM -- $139.90

* 240 scoops MCP -- $129.90

* 360 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM -- $149.90

The MCP w/ 500mg MSM is a great value, and an exceptional value on the very largest size.

Since the TS sizes are difference sizes from the regularly offered versions, this price comparison is a bit clunky but this is the best I can do...

The regularly available 240 scoops MCP w/ 500mg MSM sells for $139.90. -- Based on this price, 120 scoops (from the 240 scoop size) would sell for $69.95.

360 scoop price = 240 scoops @ $139.90 + 120 scoops @ $69.95 = $209.85

In effect, the 360 MCP w/ 500mg MSM size of Today's Special saves you 28% off of Procaps Labs regular price for MCP w/ 500mg MSM.

___

FYI, Andrew sells a separate 500mg MSM product which is included in today's TS. -- Here's what it regularly sells for on the Procaps site:

* 60 capsules -- $11.90

* 180 capsules -- $29.90

* 360 capsules -- $49.90

___

All purchases today and tomorrow have free S&H.

Additionally, there are a number of Andrew's products that are currently on "birthday pricing". This generally means that the largest size is about $10 off of the regular Procaps Labs prices. -- That said, there is a special on a Cranberry Benefits and Cinnamon Duo. The Duo listing is 093-534. If you purchase both of them together, they take an additional amount off of the Duo purchase price: 240 size - $20, 120 size - $12, 60 size - $7, and 30 size - $5.  Procaps Labs is likely to be able to give you better info (than HSN) about how this works.

Also, the post just below this one is Andrew's latest blogpost (from last week) about today's MCP w/ 500mg MSM today's special offer.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
JULY IS FOCUS ON BEAUTY MONTH
HEALTHY HAIR SKIN AND NAILS TODAY’S SPECIAL
MARINE COLLAGEN PEPTIDES TODAY’S SPECIAL
PHYTOCERAMIDES MONTHLY SPECIAL
BRIEF THOUGHTS ON QVC + HSN

During that Variety Hour we will introduce our new Monthly Special – Phytoceramides.  That name looks and sounds like a mouthful, but it is actually a very tiny capsule filled with a very simple, natural molecule that is the primary substance involved with our skin cells internally preserving their moisture and thus retaining smooth, soft, radiant skin on the outside with an increased resistance to wrinkling.  I look forward to sharing more about this relatively new and infrequently seen product.  Phytoceramides is the perfect Monthly Special to accompany our annual Healthy Hair Skin and Nails Today’s Special [from last week], as well as Marine Collagen Peptides with MSM Today’s Special.

Speaking of Marine Collagen Peptides with MSM, I have some exciting new research to discuss regarding more than just promoting healthy smooth skin and healthy resilient joints.  [This] weekend, I will be discussing of all things…cellulite.  That might seem to be an unusual subject given all of the myriad of external treatments for cellulite, but it should actually come as no surprise that a collagen supplement can have an impact if you consider the anatomical features that contribute to the appearance of cellulite.  Specifically, it has been shown that disruptions and distortions in the organization of the collagen fiber beneath our skin and above our body fat aggravate and worsen that “orange peel” appearance of dimpled skin or mottling generally referred to as cellulite.  In other words, to the extent we can improve the health and organization of the collagen layer beneath our skin, we can then better cover the irregularity of the fat underneath and thereby reduce the appearance of cellulite.  It is a fascinating discussion and no more surprising than the already established benefits of these remarkable peptide molecules for our skin or for our joints.  I swear by this product when it comes to my joints and my frequent exercise.  Whether we are talking about the appearance of our skin and cellulite or the health of our joints or blood vessels, there is abundant new science and a wide variety of quotes from several studies that I will be sharing.  Also, last year we improved this formula by essentially making it taste-neutral and completely odor-free.  This year we have made another great improvement by dramatically improving its solubility and ease of mixing.  Marine Collagen Peptides with MSM is a relatively new product and not as many folks have heard about it or had a chance to experience it, so I hope you have an opportunity to tune-in and learn more this weekend.  I will also share why not all collagen is created equal and why we go all the way to Japan to get our unique material directly from the folks with the greatest scientific experience in researching and developing the original collagen peptides.  I hope you tune-in next week to learn more about these remarkable, yet overlooked natural molecules.

I have heard the many questions and concerns about QVC’s acquisition of HSN and how that might affect my brand.  I just want to reassure everyone that there is nothing to worry about, since nothing will be changing.  I will record a brief video blog about why I believe this will be a positive experience for everyone who enjoys my products.  I suppose for many of you this is no concern at all since you started with me at QVC and have followed my products for the more than 20 years since I last appeared there.  Ultimately, I just want to put everyone’s mind at ease and say that the only changes I foresee will be for the better, since it has never been a secret that I acquired my “obsessive” focus on quality, service and your experience during my many years at QVC.  Again, not to worry.

Lastly (and I promise this is the last thing J), as you have requested, I will post a brief blog regarding some of the research I have recently discussed on-air about how to work with your doctor to more effectively use Cholesterol Lowering Drugs to achieve the same results by consuming far less medicine while also saving money and dramatically reducing the risk of side effects.  We will attach the medical studies and/or their abstracts, so you can share this with your physicians.

I look forward to seeing you Saturday evening at 11 PM and then Sunday at noon and 8 PM Eastern Time.

Best of Health.

Andrew

Re: Andrew Lessman - July 2017 schedule

I bought the 2 cookbooks for $10 plus free shipping.

I was one of the ones who didn't get a cookbook with a TS several years ago so I was happy to see this bundled.

I have the Holiday cookbook, which I like.

He said on the online show that he wants her to do an anti-inflammatory-type cookbook next.

Re: Andrew Lessman - July 2017 schedule

I had no intention of purchasing The Marine Collagen with MSM, but I caved. I purchased in the 180 servings bottle. I plan on taking 1/2 a scoop a day and stretching this out for a year. I hope to see results with my joints, I stiffen up a lot if I sit for more than an hour. The beauty results if they happen would be just an added bonus.

Re: Andrew Lessman - July 2017 schedule

I definitely notice better joint health since he added MSM.  I was already taking his Maximum Joint Effort with MSM but I think the extra MSM was what I needed.

Hi @VaBelle35 , relative to other supplements, MSM has a relatively short half-life which is the amount of time the body takes to excrete half of any particular supplement.

I had thought that the MSM half life was 4 hours, but when I googled this info sources seemed to think it was 12 hours.

When I've supplemented with MSM in the past, I've taken it in divided doses (e.g. 6am and 6pm). lol, early on, when I was more rigid about my supplementation, I took it in four divided doses each day... and made myself a bit crazy after a few months. Smiley Wink

You may want to try splitting your MSM between the morning and evening if you can.

Re: Andrew Lessman - July 2017 schedule

I ordered marine collagen & phytoceramides. Phytoceramides is on extended delivery. This would be my first time trying phytoceramides. I was tempted to order the soup cook book but didn't care for the soups listed.

@bebe777 Thanks.  I do split it. I posted it in one of the posts that I take MC in morning and evening.
