Hi fellow wenners,
Just wanted to share my thoughts on the importance of using wen CC as a leave-in especially when air drying. I've always used wen as a leave-in but since I'm now air drying more and blow drying less I have increased the amount of leave-in to 4-5 pumps from a 16oz bottle and I often mix it with a few pumps of glossing serum. I have naturally curly hair and curly wenners curls (or waves) need lots of moisture IMO. I concentrate it on the ends of my hair and work my way up...then I follow that up with styling creme, mousse and my newest beauty love the texturizing treatment spray!!!!
I actually posted my first ever review on Q for the texture spray...I know I know I should have been posting reviews all along (hangs head in shame) but it wasn't until Chaz mentioned the importance of reviews that I actually wrote one. So if you haven't already please post your reviews.

yes & as I have recently realized/learned/been told- increase your amount of leave in as your hair grows!!!!!!!
so.. as you increase the # of "golf balls" for cleansing, the leave in amounts {and amount of styling creme} increase!

@bruingirl I will try to do more reviews in the future. I also wonder if adding more leave in is the difference in me sometimes having waves and sometimes not. I'm going to experiment now with more leave in . . . . . Thanks for the heads up!

@bruingirl I am happy that you brought this up. I have wavy/curly hair and I air dry. Even though my hair is just past shoulder length, I use maybe two quarters amount of leave in (with some oil).
Also, I find that my hair comes out better if I use a few pumps extra in my second cleanse- above the two golf balls.

@Suz585 yes I think leave-in might have an effect on your outcome. And yes definitely experiment until you find your perfect leave-in amount : )

Yes, to leave-in. I've been using leave-in conditioner since I was in high school in the 80s.
I also write reviews for many of the items I've purchased. I go through new items and if I see a new configuration of an item I have (e.g.: I have a 32-oz bottle of a seasonal and now there's a 16-oz trio of the same formula), I will sometimes write a review on that, too.

@kesstrain yes, sometimes I mix a few drops of oil with my leave-in (instead of glossing serum) as well. I forgot to mention that in my OP so thank you for sharing.
I'm old-school I still use the equivalent of 40 pumps from a 16oz CC to cleanse...so golf ball wise I guess I'm a 2.5 golf baller per cleanse

yes! increase the amount also based on if thick, curly & hard to control

Yes! Leave in CC and SC is a must for me everytime. I have somewhat
straight medium texture hair just past my BS. I do use 2 pumps CC
(32oz) and 3 pumps SC. Without these two, after air drying my hair it
looks like its going to fly away. In the beginning I use to add the oils
(a lot) to my soaking wet hair being that my hairs' condition was
terrible. Now that it is all Wen Hair I can skip the oils. I only use it
for the scalp treatment. When I do add the oils to my hair it makes
my already oily scalp oilier.

@ChynnaBlue oh the 80's!! I remember using Infusium 23 on my hair. I really need to take some time to write more reviews.
