Hi, SurferWife. Please check in and let us know you're okay.
For the sake of anonymity, I saw some rumblings and tumblings in the area.
Want to be sure you're safe.
Anyone else that is in the area too, check in, please. Thank you. Sorry, I'm a serious worrier and I guess maybe that's why my hair went platinum way too soon. XXOO

Sorry to post twice. I know it's off topic but I don't know where to find you in other forums if you go to any. I just know you're a Wen girl so I posted here.

The earthquake was on the Big Island of Hawaii, not Oahu where @SurferWife lives, if I recall correctly. And it was a 4.4 magnitude, from what I read. It happened shortly after a volcano erupted.
The USGS said it received more than 500 reports of people who felt the earthquake but significant damage to buildings or structures was not expected.
An advisory was issued by the National Weather Service, warning of fallen ash from the volcano. Excessive exposure to ash is an eye and respiratory irritant, it said. The agency later said the eruption was easing and a “low-level steam cloud” was lingering in the area.
One of my bosses left Friday for a week in Hawaii.

Thank you so much for answering, World Traveler. At least I know she and others are not in any danger. I saw it was Mr. Kilauaya. Please forgive me for misspelling it. I was not sure where she and others are. Thank you again for replying.

@77yangya @ANewHue @World Traveler @CAcableGirl2
Happy New Year! I took a break from social media during the holidays & came back to all these posts! Thank you for thinking of me! We do live on O'ahu & we were NOT impacted!

@SurferWife Great to hear from you! But I knew you were okay. Toby is there to protect you from anything happening. Oh, yes, so is that surfer guy. ![]()
Isn't it wonderful to get away from it for a while? I have been taking a hiatus from watching the TV news, radio news, and only if something accidentally comes on do I know whether or not I actually missed anything! ha!
Good for the soul, mind, and body to get back into alignment by going off the grid.

Great to hear from you! Yes, it was wonderful to be away for a couple weeks. Truthfully, I'd probably still be on hiatus, but I had a question for the Philosophy forum about how "melony" the Melon Daquiri shower gel. It sounds like a great buddy for my WEN SMM.
Anyhoo...if I disappear again, it's because I'm trying to move away from social media. I definitely will be back for the next WEN TSV day. I assume there will be one in March/April.

@SurferWifeI can answer your question about that body wash, it's one of my summertime favorites. Smells overwhelmingly of canteloupe, I don't detect any "daquiri" scent at all. I remember the WEN SMM being a more soft, honeydew sort of melon, so the Philosophy would more blend than match it.
