@WorldTraveler wrote:Okay, I took the plunge.....20 pumps of mousse on my short, fine/thin hair! WOW!!!!! What a difference! I have absolutely NO body in my hair and refuse to get permanents. But what 20 pumps of mousse did for my hair is, as Chaz would say, INSANE! I have so much body and fullness! My hair not only feels fuller/thicker, it looks it!
I am so sorry I was late to the party on this product. But now that I know, I'm definitely going to get some more. Am thinking of the 613 mousse. Like all other 613 products, is this one even more incredible than the core mousse?
Thanks to all who have recommended the mousse and shared your experiences in other threads about this and other Chaz products. @bebe777 @sonechko @SurferWife @ChynnaBlue
I am going to have to try this. I have the Wen mousse but don't really use it very often. It sounds like you had great results.

@World Traveler...I've always said the 613 mousse is like WEN mousse on steroids. It's incredible! I use 5-6 pumps. It has always been sufficient for me. I just got a pixie cut this weekend and I'm still using 5-6 pumps.

Wow @World Traveler ! I must follow and pump up more mousse into my head too!
I wonder, how long the bottle will last with this amount used? Hmmm.... Well, who cares! As long as it works it's miracle, it is well worth it. After all - the result is all this is about!
I do have another suggestion for you, to maybe experiment with adding a little of Hair Re-Moist mask as a leave-in. It does create the effect that you are talking about
Yes, I read that somewhere else and definitely want to try that! Thanks for reminding me of that.
As to how long the bottle will last, I wondered that too and am placing an order for an additional bottle. Wasn't sure which one to get. I have lavender now, but am thinking of 316, unless that would be way too much volume! ha! The 316 formula seems to be an old souped-up GTO car!
@World Traveler, @sonechko has a great suggestion about adding a bit of Remoist to your leave in. -- When I haven't done a overnight remoist treatment before I cleanse my hair the next morning, I finally just got up the courage to add a bit of remoist to my CC (followed by SC and then mousse)... and there is a difference. My hair is a bit shinier and there are fewer fly aways and frizz.
I think the important thing to remember is that the CC and remoist should be added to the hair that is below your scalp line. That way it's much less likely for you hair to get greasy, because the CC and the remoist won't come in contact with your scalp.
A few days back, added a tiny bit of remoist into my 3 1/2 day between cleanses dry hair... just to see if it would make my baby fin hair greasy... it didn't but it did tame my hair more and glossed it up a bit. -- On the other side of my hair I rubbed a single drop of Treatment Oil into my palms and then raked my fingers through my baby fine hair. Unfortunately, even with that tiny amount of Treatment Oil, some of my baby fine hair got greasy. -- But the tiny bit of remoist worked great on the other side of my hair.
@sonechko, have you tried adding a bit of remoist to 3-4 day between cleanses hair?
lol, then I oiled up my scalp and put remoist through the length of my hair for my overnight scalp and hair treatments. ![]()

Unfortunately, @bebe777 my hair isn't long enough to allow me to put it only on the ends without touching the scalp; at least not easily. I make a concentrated effort not to touch the scalp, but I know it does to some degree.
Also, I use the remoist once a week, usually Sunday evenings, and leave it on overnight. So I don't see how it couldn't touch my scalp at some point during the night.
I can barely wrap my hair around Chaz's smallest brush, if that gives you any point of reference as to my hair length; and that is just on the top of my head. The sides and back of my hair are so short that you can't wrap the hair around any brush known to the human race!
The upside of short hair (before WEN) was that I could blowdry my hair in three minutes. Now that I put on the styling cream, glossing serum, mousse, leave-in, etc., I spend more time blowdrying my hair! But it is worth it!

@World Traveler, lol, sorry I didn't realize that you had really short hair. ![]()
In that case, I think the best thing to do is to experiment with the remoist a bit... maybe on the weekends or whenever you don't have to have your "best" hair days. Worst case scenario, you can always recleanse your hair.
I think that if you apply a tiny bit of remoist to dry hair first thing in the morning, that by bedtime that it will have absorbed the most into your hair and will be generally drier.
In the end, the best way to figure out what works best for your hair is to do some Wexperimenting. lol, I should talk... it's taken me a few years to get up the courage to add more SC to my hair... and adding remoist to my dry hair in between cleanses is pushing my courage to the limit.
Best of luck!!

@quadmimiand @World Traveler, I'm so glad that you both took the plunge and bought the 613 Mousse.
A few few years back, when the 613 mousse was first offered as an OTO, I took the plunge and I have never looked back. The 613 mousse has been a game changer her for my lifeless, baby fine hair. The smart hold technology does wonders to give my hair continued volume between cleanses. And the additional shine ingredient that it has, gives my hair even more shine.
I can't wait to hear about the results that each of you get!! ![]()
