I haven't bought a gallon in quite some time. Has Chaz fixed the pump so that it actually touches the bottom so you don't have to dump the last few inches of product out (turn the bottle upside down)? TIA!

@HappyDaze  The pump that I've received with my Wen gallons from QVC have been the same every year and I always end up having to turn the bottle upside down to get the last few inches out.

I bought a gallon directly from Chaz's website one time a couple of years ago and I received a completely different pump which I didn't like at all. It seemed very narrow and I didn't feel that it pumped out as much product as the pump that you get with your gallon purchase from QVC.

I'm on my 4th gallon.  When I get to the bottom I put a Flip It cap on the bottle.  I get every oz out.  Other companies have given their reason for not putting longer pumps on.  They suggested a cap like I use.  I use these caps on my product bottles in the kitchen and the bathroom.  I store the bottles upright until I want to use them.  Tip as needed.

These caps are sold at QVC.

@HSB1204 Ugh ok thanks. Hubby isn't happy with this. I was hoping Chaz fixed the issue by now. Still can't wait to get the SHL gallon though!

@Gram W Yes we have those but didn't want to fuss with it for a big bulky gallon.

@HappyDaze.  You could use it to transfer from the gallon to a smaller bottle.  I do that when transferring any WEN, Philosophy, etc into their smaller size bottles for travel when they get empty.   I try to keep everything in a bottle with the vendors name rather than a generic bottle.  Anything to diminish questions and confusion should my bottles be checked by others.  I have washed and reused the caps for a long time.

I love the Flip It caps! Every time I put one on a bottle, I have to tell my DH how freaking amazing they are and, yes, he gives me the "ok dear" look.

The only gallong bottle I've put one on was my daughter's WenKids gallon bottle, and left it upside down, but generally I keep them upright, not upside down.

@Gram Wthat is what I usually have done but these days I don't have any smaller WEN bottles since I've run out of them quite awhile ago. I do have a 32 oz of the SHP but I still have about half left so I need it for that. I will have to see if I have something else I can pour it into. It is cumbersome to have the big ol gallon upside down in the shower. I am sure I could figure something out, was just hoping Chaz had fixed the issue. I have never had a product where the pumps don't touch the bottom before so the only time I've had to put on a different lid and flip a bottle is when I was don't to the very last smidgen, not with inches left of product. Oh well, I may see if Sally's has plastic tubing I can fashion a longer tube out of for my SHL gallon when we get it. Thanks!

I don't know. I haven't examined the latest gallon I bought - it's still in the box in the closet.

It hasn't really been a problem for me, though. I use a Smart Funnel to connect the gallon bottle to a 32-oz bottle and stand them up in a corner where they won't fall over and then go watch TV while gravity solves the problem for me. I do the same for all my WEN bottles.
