@JudyL

OMG!  I just saw the LUG watercolor packing cubes video at QVC.

Pinks,Purples,Greys,   and includes a little stuff tote in pink.  SO TOTALLY CUTE!

I may have to order this?? I wonder if World Traveler is using packing cubes on her trip?

I know HSN has packing cubes by Samantha Brown i will look at before i decide.

@gacat123  I ordered mine from Amazon because thats where I got my original set before I had even heard of LUG.   I like the different colors they offer.  I have different colors for each size.  The inside of my suitcase looks pretty when I open it!  LOL  I have green, red, yellow, and blue.  Reading what some people have used their cubes for has given me ideas for my trip.

Instead of packing cubes, I've used Space Bags dual use bags.  They're the one you roll with your hand or sit on to get the air out.  I went on a two weeks road trip with friends and took a fresh change of clothing for every day in a carry-on bag by using the Space Bag.   I find them not satisfactory for long-term use but for travel they need only to stay deflated from morning until night and they were great.

I have some, but must say that I'm not a fan. I think they take up too much space. I can get more stuff into a smaller space by rolling it tightly and tucking small things into smaller spaces. I also use gallon size freezer bags for things I don't want the TSA smurfs pawing thru and just roll those up to force the air out, kind of like a space bag. Works perfectly for me.

I'm now interested in purchasing packing cubes. Size-wise, is it best to get several of the same size?  Or do you like the assorted sizes?

I use packing envelopes for clothing and cubes for everything else.

Do/did you have any issues with color transfer? Particularly the red?  I bought a red set from Amazon, but I haven't used yet (was planning to return when I thought about it, but forgot.)

I had never heard of these before, until last year when I went to a travel show where they were recommended. Bought one and agree it is nice to use.

@VaBelle35  I have two of these - a large and a medium - and I used the medium one last year when I went to Ireland for my shirts/blouses and liked it.  It packs a lot!
