The best old shows had most scenes televised from the "Kitchen" which is the heart of the home.
Hazel, Family Ties, Bill Cosby Show, I Love Lucy, Leave It To Beaver, Ozzie and Harriet. So many to choose from that made the Kitchen the place to be every single night.

Excellent choices all!
I loved Beauty and the Beast with Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton (I never saw the other).
I also loved Homicide Life on the Street, China Beach, X Files, Sisters, West Wing and Rescue Me among others.
I wish I could find something on the major channels these days that is "must see TV".
My favorite current shows are All Creatures Great and Small and Around the World in 80 days (both PBS).

I adored The Wonder Years. One of my all time favorite series. Still enjoy West Wing on Netflix.

I really miss the original Beauty and the Beast but I own the DVD's. Linda Hamilton is on the new show Resident Alien now. Besides Ozzie and Harriet that's my favorite show. My mother always promised she would take me to Hollywood so I could marry Ricky. HA!
Oh I forgot, West Wing also. I also own those DVD's.

How about you?
Oh I haven't thought about that show in years. I loved it and found Linda Hamilton so fit and attractive.
