@bayflwc   I hope that you feel better- I'm sorry that you had to stay at the hospital for a week, its good that you're back home and able to rest and recover.  I agree that I don't have much hope for any of these couples making it past decision day- they're just all so incompatible.  @pattypeep  This show entertains me, but also disappoints me. The girls on this show are trying way too hard to make things work with guys who are in my opinion- pretty unremarkable and emotionally unavailable.  The dating apps in 2024 can be frustrating sometimes, but these girls can and will do better.  These girls should buy themselves their own rings and have fun on the dating apps and really take their time to get to know men that they choose after this show is over.  Brennan, Austin, Orion and Cameron are not the best or last men on Earth.  This show reminds me of coworkers and friends who settled for less in relationships because they were desperate and wanted a husband or a boyfriend ASAP- its disheartening to see it in person and on tv.

If these couples are truly making $50,000 for their participation on the show, then that explains a LOT!!! Smiley Wink

While I get so frustrated with the "matches" that the so-called experts make, I have to keep reminding myself that the Producers are simply jerking us around for the sake of viewership and ratings.

I'm skeptical of everything that goes on now - The fake off-camera convos, the fake tears, the fake arguments, the fake friends, even the fake family members (LOL).

I'll keep watching - It's one of my few guilty pleasures - But I'm not "emotionally invested" in the outcomes like I was in the very beginning.

As I said before, I wouldn't be surprised if Michael & Chloe ended up being the only couple that stayed married on Decision Day...

And, that's in spite of the experts and the producers.

Wouldn't it be beautiful, if they actually fell in love and rode off together into the sunset. ♥

@LavernLuvsShoes  50 thousand is a ton of money- its understandable that some of the conestants apply, but it couldn't be me Smiley Very Happy.  I share your skepticism too and good point about fake families and fake friends and especially fake inside scoop camera shots during fights.  I do think that Emily's friends are real because they all talk like the Kardashians with vocal fry and "like, like, like"- birds of a feather flock together.

Maybe Michael and Chloe could be the only successful ones! He certainly will be attracted to her, but can she stand the fact that he dresses like Mystery, from VH1's "Pick Up Artist"? Smiley WinkSmiley Very Happy I wonder if he will greet Chloe at the alter with his crown and sword from the bride that rejected him.

No - Remember he said he got rid of the gifts from the previous bride, because he wanted to put the past behind him. Smiley Wink

ETA: Soooo glad he got a haircut too!

@LavernLuvsShoes  He got rid of the sword and crown? He should've kept them- its not like they would've made Chloe jealous. I hope the runaway bride atleast gave him the Party City receipt for the return Smiley Very Happy.  I like Michael's new haircut too.

I am sorry to read that you have been sick and in hospital!  I hope you are much better now!

I agree with what you posted.  These were terrible matches.  They just seem to be getting worse with each season!

Thanks for your great post.  I agree with pretty much everything you've said.  I don't understand what the experts are looking at when they put these people together.  I think they like certain people individually and then match them regardless of whether they will be good matches or not.  I do think they must have some professional training and I especially like Dr. Pepper.  Pastor Cal has been good at certain times.  I don't know much about the other lady.

I'm so glad that you all are watching, too. It has become so sad to see the couples failing. I would love to come away from this show with a warm heart, rather than sadness. Hoping for at least a few good outcomes. Each year it seem that fewer couples are staying after the two months. I can't help but think that they are not being truthful when interviewing wiith the experts.

Your post was so great!  Yes, yes, yes!  Wouldn't that be awesome to see and watch several couples that are great matches, who really want to compromise and aren't just wanting totally different things and aren't willing to give in?  It IS sad to watch these shows and see these people.  I mean, obviously when they signed up to do this they had to have a certain amount of hope and desire for this to work and to find their match!  You are probably right --- so many people just aren't able to see their own personality flaws and don't even know themselves at all.  And some probably just put down things on the applications that they feel will make themselves look good --- not what their real stories are!  Very sad because they are not doing themselves or anybody else any favors!

With things the way they are now in the world, it's hard to believe much of anything!  Sad, but true.

And yes, it would be so great if Michael and Chloe would work out!

I think there is a lot of realism but a lot of fake stuff to make it more interesting for viewers and ratings.  Well, Michael did do one change -- his hair!  If you can get past the way he dresses, he probably is a wonderful person.  I hope Chloe is very open minded and can give him a chance.
