I like this show and watch it occasionally.  When they redo the owners home, do the owners keep the furniture?  Or is the staging just for show and the owners have to bring back their own stuff?

I believe I read that any or all of the furniture can be purchased by the owners in addition to the cost of the remodel.

I also read that all furniture and accesories must be purchased by the Home owners... Not sure about the appliances though......The furnishings usually look very expensive as well.

I wonder if it's included in the "Hilary Farr never enough money budget" or if there's a separate budget for the furnishings.

I enjoy some of the HGTV shows as well, but recently read that most of the homes they purchase or remodel are only used for the show's purposes. They may even belong to someone else.

This is one of those mind-numbing shows I am embarrassed to say I watch, especially in the middle of the night.🥴

I don't buy for one minute the homes David shows the clients are still going to be available for sale by the time Hilary has completely finished renovating their current home. I don't think so.

They have competition .....  Last night I was flipping channels and came across another show where the couple decides to buy a new home or go for remodeling. 

Can't remember the name, though.  They lived in Tenessee and had 8 kids.  Anyone know what show this is?
