It irks me that the regular network shows are left out, these are very hard working actors too, and behind the scenes people too.

I fully understand your perspective but I blame the networks who have more or less given other providers a virtual monopoly on quality. It's a shame. If and when the networks choose to compete, once again, and start turning out consistently better 'products' then perhaps they will once again be in the hunt for awards. No trophies for just showing up, it seems.

I think her "stylist" needs to be fired immediately. Absolutely no one needed to see all of that 😲

Not sure the stylist is to blame. After all, she wore the dress. That also seems to be somewhat of a signature look for her. She seems to choose to show off her rather prodigious assets...

I was sure that she was going to have a wardrobe malfunction during her acceptance speech.  This is a rare occasion of not flaunting it if you have it.

Re: Golden Globes Tonite Jan 7

The most worrisome shots were with the camera standing over her, looking down her cleavage. I was for sure certain we were going to see something! But, when she was giving her speech, I was left thinking that she must be wearing some really good tape.

She looks RIDICULOUS and TRASHY. I can't believe anyone who would been seen by millions of people would wear what this HIDEOUS dress.

  • I agree her choice of dress was not a good one. Perhaps that is how she prefers to dress.

I like Da'Vine Joy Randolph. I recently watched her in The Holdover. She was really good in the movie.  I loved the movie. One of my favorite movies.

I didn't watch the show, but saw some headlines about it. I thought the Taylor Swift joke was funny; she apparently didn't see  the humor. She needs to lighten up. Being in the public so much, she should be used to this. Can't take it, shouldn't have been an entertainer.

@teganslaw Who said she "couldn't take it"? She didn't laugh because she didn't think it was funny. It's not her job to make him feel better about his lame joke.

@Phantom41

I first thought she must not have any friends that will tell her the truth.

That scene will be an embarassment for the rest of her life.   How sad.
