I didn't watch the show, but saw some headlines about it. I thought the Taylor Swift joke was funny; she apparently didn't see  the humor. She needs to lighten up. Being in the public so much, she should be used to this. Can't take it, shouldn't have been an entertainer.

It irks me that the regular network shows are left out, these are very hard working actors too, and behind the scenes people too.

I too didn't watch but was very glad to hear that a native American actress Lily Gladstone from the Blackfoot tribe won a GG.  Here she is:

I think Taylor knew the joke was coming and was totally on board with it...thus her bored response which I found very funny.

I thought the dress the first actress had on was stunning, but obviously not right for her.

If Gillian Anderson's dress had not been "explained," no one would have known.

I had no idea who the host was, but I know who Taylor Swift is, and she still has no sense of humor. I'm sure file footage of the many awards would reveal multiple instances over the years of celebrities in the audience who were the butt of jokes which "fell flat," yet they handled it with grace; Taylor Swift now won't be one of them.

What I think is funny is that I don’t remember the Taylor Swift joke as it was happening. Of course, then throughout the night, they did indeed keep cutting to her.

Interesting that this is what gets talked about after the show, but then again anything having to do with Taylor gets clicks and views. It actually sounds like it was one of his better jokes. But it has to be rehashed (and both ridiculed and disected) because it’s her. She may not mind as it moves away from the horrible NY Times opinion piece.

Not sure the stylist is to blame. After all, she wore the dress. That also seems to be somewhat of a signature look for her. She seems to choose to show off her rather prodigious assets...
