Read the book(s) ages ago but have never seen the series. Didn't even know there was one. Thanks for the tip.

Lilysmom...nice to see a fellow bluenoser...:-)......I'm from Nova Scotia too....but now live in TX since '98...all my family is still in NS....I try to get home frequently but not as often as I would like.

I wanted to add in case anyone has Amazon or Netflex that if you like the Anne movies/stories be sure to check out the Road to Avonlea series. Loved that series.

Straykatz, hello to you! Such a small world! Always happy to see another Nova Scotian. Will you return at some point or is Texas your home now? LM

We may when we retire...I'm married to an American so that's how I ended up here.

I absolutely loved the Anne of Avonlea series on the Disney Channel years ago. Gosh, I sure wish that they'd replay that series again instead of some of the mindless shows that they play for the "tween" crowd now. I am sure that some 7-12 year olds that I know would love this show.
