Has anyone seen this? What did you think?

I found it a little strange (as with all Wes Anderson films) but entertaining.

Re: THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL

We watched it last night and LOVED IT! Entertaining, kept us engaged, had a couple of really great messages. Hubby wants me to buy it for our collection.

Beautifully filmed, beautifully acted. A big thumbs-up! Ralph Fiennes never disappoints.

I have this on one of my Tivos right now but haven't watched yet. FYI, it has numerous additional airings on the HBO channels so, if somebody wants to watch it on tv, it will be easy to grab one of those airings. Smiley Happy

I really enjoyed this up until the end. The filming of this was just exquisite. The story was very engaging. The acting was superb. But for some reason I started to get bored towards the end. Maybe it's just me, but it just seemed to drag at the end.

Re: THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL

I tried to watch last night and, granted this is probably pretty lame on my part but, about seven minutes in I was out. I don't know what I thought it was going to be, as I cannot remember my thought process at the time I scheduled it to record, but it just didn't seem like something that would hold my interest.
