You are so right. I seen makeup last night on a host looked like she had two black raccoon eyes. Scary!

With the advent of televisions that have the ability to look clearly at the pores of your face, I'think that make up should be subtle, even the smokey eye. There is a place for heavy make up and that's on a theater stage where your features need to be seen even to the back row of the House. But not on TV, no need for it. Beautiful make up sparingly applied can be gorgeous on TV....

I'd like the hosts to say what make up line(s) that they're wearing and what clothing brand, even if it's not a fashion or make up show.
Most women use so many different things from various make up lines so it would take forever to list them all .... LG serum, Clinique foundation, Mally mascara, Guerlain blush, etc etc ..... and the same with fashion.
If you see a jacket, for instance, that you like, call CS while the host is onscreen and they can usually tell you if it's a QVC item or the host's own garment.

Makeup artists at QVC need to know that the Raccoon Eyes are horrible on High Definition TVs. Also, makes dark circles show up badly and thus they put too much concealers on that are horrible looking and on this type of tv is a makeup mishap with the concealers showing up too much white and not blended.
If you look at other live channels that is the reason for the makeup changes and most liners (just on the top line and lightly on the bottom) light or blended eye shadows - not black. Maybe take a cue from some of the vendors like L. Geller, for instance.

So true...the host last night - Sat the 7th - looked like she has been punched in both eyes! Not a pretty sight! Am surprised that the make up artists allow the hosts to go on air looking so ragged!

I see that others have stated their opinions on the make up on the hosts since November , 2015. Well, it has not improved. Since that time I have noticed how much their eyes have been exagerated with dark, dark, shadow and artifical lashes. To me, it is robbing them of their beauty. They remind me of Bette Davis in the movie "Baby Jane" where the makeup artist made her up to look demented. Bring back the beauty and class to QVC and bring back the beauties.

Tink makes an excellent point. Also, I don't care as much about what LINE a product comes from, I want the color or exact item. Some companies make hundreds of lipsticks, blushes, foundations, etc and knowing it's a MAC or YSL lipstick or blush won't help me if I don't know which color it was.
And if you've ever visited a makeup blog, you'll know those lists gets really long. I once saw a video for a "natural" makeup look that used something like 15 different products to achieve and most of them were from different brands.
