I wonder what the reasoning would be to NOT put a delete icon?

I don't know if this helps, but these are the last official updates I could find on this issue.  It's not that they chose not to include the feature...  evidently it's not a technical option with this particular platform:

Maybe an update from @Keyai in December might be a good idea.
