I agree with the dishes looking like the grocery store dishes.  They remind me of the ones that women could get pieces for free each week, depending on the amount they spent.  One of the local dollar type stores sells dishes that are very similar.  Tara's dishes are often found in local thrift stores.  I'm guessing people didn't realize how heavy, and hard to store they would be.  To me, they look like over priced cheap stoneware.

I bought one thing from Temptations a few months ago....the 3 round nesting bakers. Thought they would be handy to have and a bit prettier than the Pampered Chef baking stuff that I have had for years. So far the large and medium sizes have split right in half and the small one has a million craze lines under the glaze so I'm waiting for that to crack in half too....

I agree that Tara's foray into the household design is wrong on so many levels. Its just plain ugly. I think last year she was pushing a fake ugly Christmas Tree + goofy Xmas stockings....

I have wondered the same about a few other designers who seem to have more hour shows and individual items on other shows.   IMO these same people get more " love and attention" from the hosts than other designers.  As is often said here, QVC is a business and they are going to push the products they can make the biggest profit on.

I'd love the free stuff. But I don't have the gift of gab to get the job. I don't think any hosts take on a product is objective. They have to sell a piece of lint if it makes the Q money.
