Isn't THAT the truth, Gina...  If it's reached the point where we're walking into walls with our collective Stepford-ness then I'll beg off...  There is such a thing as criticism in the real world and there is such a thing as humor...  If these new and dreadful boards have been created in the image of all those who see anything remotely negative as 'bashing', 'bullying' and 'inapropriate, then those of us with more real-world sensibilities will happily leave this rather shaky new house to the inhabitants of Peppermint Bay...

The comments don't have to be unkind now you can't ask questions about hosts.  I was deleted for asking if a host was getting married.  Reason for being deleted.......too personal.  So make sure you don't ask questions.

Are you serious??? First, hosts are always encouraging us to interact with them on Facebook/social media, yet we can't ask a question like that here! 😨

It just doesn't make sense!

Plus...why can't we voice an honest opinion about a host as long as it's diplomatic? I don't like the sea that only positives, or false positives, are allowed. Seems disingenuous to me, and promoting an atmosphere of unrealistic attitudes. JMO, of course!

I saw a post deleted after I had read it, a personal attack. It was something about "overreacting to the board changes". I certainly wouldn't call it a personal attack, but I thought oh boy! I had actually responded to that poster's comment agreeing that she was overreacting, but I think I said something like "give it time". They deleted mine too, but it was just gone. They never said why they deleted it. I thought, oh dear, maybe I'll be banned. 😳

I am serious.  When they made the change I asked a question about whether a certain host was getting married.  You couldn't find anything when this forum started up so I asked the question again.  As I didn't know it posted.  Someone was nice enough to tell me my post had been deleted.  I don't know if a reason was given as I didn't see my post.  A few hours later I got a call from QVC Customer Service. I thought they were selling something so didn't pick up.  About 30 minutes later I got an email explaining why my post was deleted.  The host didn't want anything brought up about their personal life.  And they hoped I wouldn't be offended.  I wrote back I was offended as said nothing negative.  Meanwhile the hosts are all over the place posting pics and info on their lives.  So I have learned you cannot ask a question.  Do you see any posts anywhere now about hosts in any way.  I'm still having trouble finding things but I haven't seen any.

I agree, I always enjoyed our banter back and forth  regarding the Q, Pantone Color of the year, pets, horses, etc., not to mention SPURT's weekly treatise on the weekend's offerings.  Maybe we will get used to it, and I will give it a little while, but QVC is rapidly losing me almost 100%.  Have canceled all autodeliveries except for the wreath at Christmas I give my elderly aunt and my dog/cat vet clinic, and have bought nothing in ages.   I have more fun looking at the new things daily on zulily, which even has horse stuff!

So, am I now able to post a pic of my little Gidget?
