Re: Stop the bathroom shows!

I do my hair and makeup in the bathroom.   It seems like an appropriate location to present those type products.  She's sitting at a counter with a lighted mirror. Not sure how that is offensive.   When she is in the studio for Dare to Share Beauty she sits at a vanity with a lighted mirror.   Not a whole lot different other than your perception.  You really only see a small corner of what is likely a much larger room.   It's not like she is sitting on the toilet!!   The comments about entertaining in the bathroom are a bit much.   She isn't hosting a dinner party.  She is selling products that for the majority of the audience are used in that room.   I personally think people are being far too sensitive.

I thought she was sitting on the toilet (lid down of course) presenting the products.

Re: Stop the bathroom shows!

Because the complaints sparked my curiosity, I watched a couple of the presentations from last night.  Shawn is sitting next to a vanity with a large mirror with lights, and it s not bad at all.  There is a towel hanging in a round towel holder next to the vanity and one can see towels hanging from hooks reflected in the mirror.  If I were her, I would replace those towels with more photogenic ones or other items.

I think she makes it bad by telling us she is in the bathroom. This is typical behavior for her, she likes to stir controversy.  She is not bathing, or using any bathroom fixtures, so we don't need to know that she is in the bathroom.  Most people appearing from remote locations don't tell us what type of room they are in, and we don't care.  She could have been in a closet, as I think others are.

I don't care what size house you live in, you don't invite people into your bathroom to sit and chat about products. Seriously, I cannot believe that anyone thinks it's a good idea.  It's disgusting.

THIS!  Is there any decorum anymore?  Have we now turned into too casual and too uncaring today?  There was a thing where there was pride in your presentations  You don't see Amy Morrison or Colleen Lopez looking like they're ready for bed (the tiresome drivel of "hard times, we can't get out, etc." is old. Let's put some effort in your appearance and try to get out of the place where you tend to personal functions.

I never watch her shows. The bathroom would be the least of my concerns. She is like watching someone who drank 5 energy drinks and had no sleep for days. She's a bit much.

You mean like a train wreck?  You're in the vicinity, you see it happening, you watch, but you can't do anything about it!

@QVC101

In the studio with Dare to Share Beauty, there is no shower or bathtub with a dirty ring, or a toilet bowl with...well..you know.  So, yes, there is a difference.
