If you are paying interest then it is because you are not paying the balance in full every month. There is no interest on easy pay items. If you carry a balance on your credit card, then of course you are paying interest. This has nothing to do with easy pay, that works for any purchase. If you don't want to pay interest then pay your balance in full every month.
