Yes there is a return fee in addition to the postage fee of 6.95. I just learned this yesterday when I questioned the calciulation of t he amount refunded to me.. I was charged a 3.50 return fee (in addition to the 3.50 shppping fee when I made the purchase, and $6.95 postage fee, for a total of $10.45 in fees.  I feel this is ridiculous.

@GG13 - This is simple math.  No, there is no return fee.

What you are seeing is the non-refunding of the original S&H ($3.50) plus the return label fee ($6.95).

Total:  $10.45.  You don't get charged the original shipping again; it is simply not refunded.

If there was an additional "return fee" of $3.50, the total would be $13.95.

You may not like QVC's return policies, but they have been in effect for a very long time and any longtime customer knows that.

@Jacrog.  There is no fee to return an order.  You are not refunded the original s&h fee, and you're charged postage to use the return label  You can pay for your own return if you prefer but it's usually more expensive to do so.  That's it, no other charges.

Your statements are exaggerated, but even so, why do you keep shopping at a store where you're so dissatisfied?  Please feel free to go elsewhere.

That's her opinion and she's welcome to post it if she wants. You don't have to agree.

@CalminHeart.  Somebody here had a by-line, "You're entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts".

I find that highly appropriate in this case.

@GG13.  Please contact the social team regarding any erroneous charges.   Include your order #.

I read almost nothing "opinion based"  in the OP's lengthy,  capitalized, dense rant.

As others correctly noted, it was almost all false and inaccurate.

I appreciate those pointing out the truth of the matter.

A rant and clickbait.  Get a life, and please leave us serious QVC shoppers in peace.

And again, this is incorrect information. Unless, of course, in the decades I've been shopping here they simply "forgot" to charge me that extra fee even once. Wow, lucky me! Smiley Very Happy

What's more likely is (if what you say happened to is true and I have no reason to doubt you) is that there was an error in your refund that could have been easliy remedied by a call to CS or an email to the social team.

QVC has NO restocking fee.

@SusieQ_2  I was hoping that someone would respond to this. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one not having to return anything. For clothing, I check the size chart and for kitchen or something for the home I know exactly what I want and I always have my measuring tape out and measure to see how big or long something is.

Some people like to say, I didn't know it was so small. Check the measurements and use your measurement tape. It's good to always have a ruler or measuring tape when ordering anywhere on line.

I agree that none of the posters that replied were unkind to the op. Sometimes a poster will be met with the same energy they put out but in this case the op was met with matter of fact comments that were not unkind.

Regarding this person's "mistake," they were informed of said error and chose to double down. Once a person has been shown that they are wrong, yet continues on,  the mistake becomes a lie. jmo Smiley Happy

@SusieQ_2 You aren't obligated to say please and thank. you so much for posting when someone posts incorrect information.  When you are wrong and people point it out, YOU say thank you to them for keeping you from looking wrong when you spout off again.

People need to admit their mistakes and go forth as adults should.  Especially when the first post is a rant.  Wrong, and still a rant. OOPS!  Woman Embarassed

@Sooner

I agree with you 100%.

And what's interesting to me was taking a couple minutes to look at the op's history which was very eye-opening. I can now easliy say this isn't a person who's unhappy with QVC, it's just an unhappy person in general as reflected by their nasty posts.

@SusieQ_2 Then there's that. But I so often see people get testy when someone points out they were wrong.  I think a lot of ill will could be avoided and people remain friends by just admitting you are wrong and going on.  Nothing wrong with being wrong the first time!  Woman LOL  And I'm talking facts, not opinions and beliefs.  That's different.

But they can always ask a question here. I've seen Posters question something and would ask if that's the way it works. We have enough knowlegable Posters here who would know.

@Venezia  I was wondering how @GG13  came up with that number.

I know when to take a few minutes from the Forums. I forgot I was not on FB and I tried to zap the OP's Post. So now I'll go to HSN Arcade and play some games. I will be back.

We all know there isn't an additional fee. Why nit pick an error instead of looking at her concern.

All of us have been taken for a ride at least once. OP will learn from this experience without people being unkind.

That said, customers are responsible for knowing what it'll cost them to buy anything as well as to return something.
