And since when is correcting someone's misinformation being "mean"?  That accusation has gotten very over-used lately.  (As have the rants about QVC being the devil incarnate and a scam company.)

Many of us know that there are posters who dislike everything about QVC and use the forum as a way to warn others off shopping here.

Has never worked and never will.  Most of us have a mind of our own and are informed shoppers.

The answer for those unhappy with QVC's pricing and policies truly is simple:  shop elsewhere.  There's plenty of choice.

Very Well said @Venezia

It is also a false statement posted above that:

"Brands that are not owned by Q are always less expensive elsewhere."

This is repeatedly posted over and over on tons of threads and it is not quite accurate either.

Not always by any means....my Edge Shopper lets me know if the item is available elsewhere for less.....and it often is not.

'You have the best price'....

Sometimes it is...and sometimes it is pennies...including S/H...however, using the word 'always' is a false statement.  If you want to make it an opinion, then say 'I THINK...'  or 'The items I buy'.....as written, incorrect.

Qvc very often has the lowest price on KA, Vitamix, tons of cosmetics I purchase and many more brands that are not Q owned.

Whatever the fee situation is, I don't shop much here anymore. But, I do pay---cost of item+taxes+shipping to get it to me. Then I pay to return, shipping fees as I do use the return label--is way too expensive mailing it on my own. I lose--the shipping to me fee, as well as the return label fee--not sure about the taxes tho, I'll have to check on that--but I usually end up with not much as a refund. I do usually opt for easy pay tho--just to check out the item--so that is what the return fees are subtracted from. Once I, returned something to ShopHQ or whatever is was years ago--and ended up having to pay them a few bucks, as the ez pay amount was not enough to cover ithe return fees--that is when I stopped shopping there.

@RespectLife - Yes, I picked up on that false statement, too.

I've bought things from QVC that were more expensive elsewhere, even if I counted in shipping.  I bought a Little Giant ladder years ago, that would've been far more and the shipping exorbitant from other retailers.  It's one of the best purchases I ever made.

Whenever someone has to resort to exaggerated (and in this case, untrue) statements to make his/her point, they've already lost the argument.  For me at least.

And the "shouting" in all caps, is a losing tactic, too.  It becomes just another rant.

@Jacrog And you thought it was OK to post a major snide rant about a company who is paying for the website on which you posted. Never mind that some of your facts were wrong.  Helpful criticism is one thing -- your rude post is not.

Yes there is a return fee in addition to the postage fee of 6.95. I just learned this yesterday when I questioned the calciulation of t he amount refunded to me.. I was charged a 3.50 return fee (in addition to the 3.50 shppping fee when I made the purchase, and $6.95 postage fee, for a total of $10.45 in fees.  I feel this is ridiculous.

@SusieQ_2 You aren't obligated to say please and thank. you so much for posting when someone posts incorrect information.  When you are wrong and people point it out, YOU say thank you to them for keeping you from looking wrong when you spout off again.

And again, this is incorrect information. Unless, of course, in the decades I've been shopping here they simply "forgot" to charge me that extra fee even once. Wow, lucky me! Smiley Very Happy

What's more likely is (if what you say happened to is true and I have no reason to doubt you) is that there was an error in your refund that could have been easliy remedied by a call to CS or an email to the social team.

QVC has NO restocking fee.

I agree with you 100%.

And what's interesting to me was taking a couple minutes to look at the op's history which was very eye-opening. I can now easliy say this isn't a person who's unhappy with QVC, it's just an unhappy person in general as reflected by their nasty posts.

@SusieQ_2 Then there's that. But I so often see people get testy when someone points out they were wrong.  I think a lot of ill will could be avoided and people remain friends by just admitting you are wrong and going on.  Nothing wrong with being wrong the first time!  Woman LOL  And I'm talking facts, not opinions and beliefs.  That's different.

@GG13

I hope you will RE-read all the answers to this thread.  There is NO additional return fee.

Pls read these posts again...and if you are still uncertain.... email the mods and they can explain the breakdown of the refund policy.

social.team@qvc.com

You lose whatever the original shipping was...AND

You lose the label return fee...

(and if they sent you the wrong item, defect, damage...your refund should be in full)

That's it...there is NO restocking/return fee.

If anything else happened to your refund...it might have been an error and can be corrected.

You should not lose $3.50 twice.
