@Tinkrbl44It's so strange I would fear I'd been hacked and someone other than QVC was trying to get my money.

There is usually more to the story than what's being told.

@Tinkrbl44There isn't a credit card in the world that doesn't eventually charge its users interest, so it's not whether a buyer uses a cc or which card she chooses to use, it's how the card gets used.

And I still think something bad is going on with OP's calls - I can't imagine we'd get only one complaint here if what happened to her was company policy whehter from QVC or whatever company owns the card.  It's unlikely QVC does!

Debit cards I do not trust nor understand -  I'd just use cash.

There's something crazy going on with OP's CC company, not the Q. The Q gets their money, and the rest is in the CC companie's hands. I would dump their CC and use another credit card.

One of my credit card companies I've used for 20 years and have had exemplary service from. I've never paid a penny interest while enjoying hundreds of dollars in cash returns. I've also received remarkable service on one dispute, and on a couple of infomercials that tried to roll me over. I pay them off monthly. They value me enough to give me a limit equal enough to buy a car and expiration dates of three years. They also are nice enough to allow me to select my own date I wish to pay, which is the 1st of the month rather than midway.

I, too, do not see any advantage at all to a debit card and wouldn't have one. When handled correctly your credit cards can be jewels....

Be careful of debit cards, I've been told they are very easy to hack.

I had a QVC credit card for years before we moved five years ago.  I paid it off and canceled it and will not go on that merry-go-round again.

Re: QCARD HARASSMENT

[ Edited ]

I really don't know why I said that.I never had a problem with them .I pay by phone and always in advance.  I just don't like the way they sound..lol..... and how they say if you need help  they charge you.....lol.

I think ,but not sure ,this is the third (or more) time The Q has changed banks.I have my card from the day they came out with them.

This year I am not going to shop here so much any more.I have everything I'll ever need and more.I am old  and don't need much.... .lol

I used to shop a lot when my hubby and son died.I guess to fill a void. The hosts were like family in those old days and tv shopping was new.Now there is Amazon and other places where the shipping is fast ,free and prices are lower. Smiley Happy

One really has  to wonder why QVC is constantly moving around from bank to bank..In the yrs I have had a Q card ,they have switched many, many  times. This new babk Syncrony (sp?) seems to be the nastiest of them all.

Many yrs ago I had BIG trouble. I paid a $4,000 bill  (always in full and always ahead of time) and got credited only for $4.00 ( clerks mistake)

I had to get my bank involved to fight it for me.It took me a long time to get over that one! I am rethinking by buying habits here for the new year.

I don't know how long I have had a Q card but it used to be GE unitl GE sold to Synchrony. I don't think it has to do with Q making changes it's the Banks making changes.

Why is Synchrony the nastiest?
