I just received an email asking me to review a product I purchased. I had already posted a review. I always post my respectful reviews and try to be helpful as to sizing etc. I rely on reviews to form my own purchases. What I do not understand is why QVC is so inefficient in posting the reviews. I am willing to wait the 5 days. I posted a review in the A.M. March 15 on a product and it has yet to be posted. It was a glowing review and I followed the rules so I do not understand the issue. They have posted reviews written after mine, but not mine. Thank you QVC for the review system. It is a valuable tool, but please post them in a timely manner.

Compared to Amazon, the Q's review system is lame.

The fact that some reviews which were posted after yours are already there suggests they are not as reliably unbiased as we are led to believe.

I'm going to have to disagree there. While Amazon has some nice features on their review system, they also have a lot of issues. I've found reviews of items available for pre-sale - like software that has a release date but has not been sold and not even magazine reviewers have seen yet. It's amazing how many people love to come and post reviews about products that aren't even available yet. Reviews that literally say things like "I can't wait for this thing" or "the last one sucked, so I don't even know why they're trying again." Useless. QVC also gets some of those, but not as many.
Amazon has so many fake reviews that Amazon has actually sued individuals and small businesses who make money writing product reviews. Someone has even come out with a third party add-on to Chrome that helps identify fake reviews. It's called Fakespot and it's free. And Amazon is so big and ubiquitous that there are people who spend time finding odd products and writing humorous reviews just because they can. Yes, they've added a verified purchase tag, but the number of fake reviews is overwhelming and Amazon has not been able to keep up.

QVC is not very honest with their reviews either. For instance, the Today's Special Value....... early this morning they showed the product for single shipment right next to the product for Auto delievery shipment. Now they are only showing the Auto delievery product. (I'm talking about when they show you all the products for that hour (Items recently on air). For the single shipment there were around 60 or so reviews and the average was 3 star reviews. Now....you have to click on the auto delivery product and switch it from there to the single shimpment. You will find only 1 review with 3 starts.....where did the other 60 reviews go? Also, you will notice that there are 5 reviews for the auto shipment but when you click on it....it doesn't post it....it says be the first to review. I'm sure there were plenty others who noticed this this morning! Very sneaky!!!!

Hi @culebra
Thank you for your continued support and use of the product review function on qvc.com. I will relay your concerns about the efficiency of moderation to the appropriate team. I hope the delay will not deter you from continuing to write helpful reviews, we definitely appreciate your participation.

Amazon certainly does have issues! I often read the book reviews before buying a new book, but I am always annoyed about the number of reviews given in return for a free book. I completely ignore these. Of course they'll be positive so the reviewer can get more free items!

I can't say much about Amazon's reviews for products other than books, but I can say I've read plenyty of book reviews, both positive and negative that made me wonder how much of the book the reviewer had actually read.
Makes me wonder if Amazon is really all that much better overall.

Watch those reviews on Amazon. Some reviews listed are not even for the product being sold. I also don't like how they have a pic of the item being sold but it's not always like what they send to you.

@2blonde Sorry but this logic escapes me. She said she wrote a glowing review. Are you suggesting they favor bad reviews?
