Please let us know what queue position we are in when using the Chat function!

It is frustrating having no clue how long it will take for a rep to come on. Most chats on shopping sites have either an approximate time you will be helped and/or what number you are in the queue so you have an idea. Please consider this as it will help me decide if I should just call instead if I am going to be waiting for 5 or more minutes!

It's no better if you call.  I've been on hold for 10 minutes.

Chat said would start momentarily, but no one ever came.

 

Sent email, no one ever responded.

 

Called CS, put on hold - with horrid music in the background.  Finally gave up.

 

Contact Us at QVC is meaningless.

LOL, how spoiled we've become.  Anyone old enough to remember when long distance cost a fortune per minute (if you even had a phone) and if you had a problem with a company or a question snail mail was the only way to go?  Now, if it isn't instant, we get  frustrated because something is taking too long.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

Yeah, "momentarily" becomes 10 minutes, 15 minutes, half hour, etc.!

yes I've been on hold for a long time too and had thought perhaps chat would be quicker. I was wrong!

The average wait time is said to be 56 seconds. If I'm in the kitchen doing things with the hold on speaker, I'll hang in until I'm finished or they pick up. Those times I've always been answered within 5 minutes.

Well I must be unlucky then because I've tried using several times now and each time I was waiting for well over 56 seconds. I'd say it has been at least 5 minutes each time.

@HappyDaze, sorry I didn't make myself clear. I meant: the average time a person waits holding is 56 seconds. Most just hang up....
