It seems every time someone comes to QVC's SUGGESTION BOX and makes a comment or a valid complaint all we get are snarky comments, told to "change the channel", "shop somewhere else if you don't like it", "what QVC is doing must be working for them or they wouldn't be doing it that way". Or people are accused of being a troll with everyone piping in whether or not the poster is valid.
QVC established this category to obtain customer feedback. It should be left up to QVC to determine which feedback should be taken into consideration to help improve the shopping experience for all of QVC's customers. We shouldn't be harrassed for simply providing a suggestion. The reason we make comments and suggestions and provide feedback is there is something about QVC that we like and we would like to make it even better and keep QVC as a viable retail option for us.
MODERATORS--please monitor this topic and pleae remove any snarky or attacking comments. And it seems it's always the same group and same people doing this to.

Great suggestions. I've felt this way also...some posters think it's up to them to tell those making suggestions to change the channel, shop somewhere else, etc. We all know those are options...and aren't asking for advice from other posters. These are suggestions to Q. If someone wants a poster to give advice, they usually ask for it.

So bascially, you only want people who agree with your ideas for change to post comments on your suggestions? Somehow that doesn't seem fair to me.
Snark is never welcome, but sometimes folks confuse disagreement of their position as snarky. I don't believe there could ever be an improvement in anything that would suit everyone. Obviously, some folks like the Q the way it is, others don't. I'm sure the Q appreciates your suggestions, but I think they probably also appreciate seeing how those suggestions are viewed by other customers.

So well said! And.....I totally agree with you and could also provide the names, as I am sure y7ou could too. Snarky is a good word but I call it nasty! I don't understand because the moderators will erase something that they don't think is nice but yet they allow the same people to criticise and say what you said, "change the channel" etc. I think after 5 or 6 snarky responses, they should be audited and put on so many days of leave!

We also have a few posters who are bent on disrupting any civil discussion with post after post to stir up trouble and garner harsh responses they know will get the topic removed. I am seeing more of this recently. And I've been here since the beginning.
Their game is to get topics removed and people don't realize what is going on and play right into their hands.

The moderators don't "erase" (lol) posts that do not violate the Community standards. There are posts people may not like but that isn't against community standards. Not everyone views each post in the same way - you may not appreciate it, someone else might agree totally. As another poster said, QVC wants to see ALL the opinions in a topic, not just one side.

No I'm not saying, only people that agree with me can post comments/suggestions. perhaps I didn't say it well......I just think that people should be able to leave a suggestion without being ridiculed. And I don't see how saying:
1. Change The Channel
2. If you don't like it shop elsewhere
3. There are more important things going on in this world to worry about.
4. You only have few posts you must be a troll or someone banned coming back under a different nickname
5. What QVC is doing must be working for them
6. You need to find something else to do
Now how do these comments add additional feedback to suggestions. They are attacking the PERSON and not contributing to thoughts on the IDEA/SUGGESTION/COMMENT!
Just like MOMINOHIO for QVC posted a suggestion to please not show the TSV on both QVC and QVC PLUS at the same time and she got hostile and nasty comments for that--that's acceptable --REALLY??????????????????

Moderators have deleted offensive posts with comments like "argumentative". "baiting","inappropriate"
These people are merely attacking the PERSON and not contributing to thoughts on the IDEA/SUGGESTION/COMMENT!
And this IS what is says in the Community Guidelines---
Personal attacks are not allowed - Don't attack or insult another Community member. It's not helpful and it doesn't make for a friendly place. This includes calling other members names. Disagreement is no excuse for poor manners and we will not allow frustration to turn into a personal attack.

Good response. No matter what is posted, someone has to try to bait others and refuse to see what the poster is saying...these are the posters who HAVE to try to challenge/bait others. To them I would say: you need to find something else to do.

Wow, lots of caps.
I just wrote a long reply and decided it would probably result in even more caps and that's not why I participate here.
Enjoy your thread.
