Here is a suggestion.

 

Over and over when I order an item, QVC let’s me go totally thru the ordering and when I’m finally ready to ‘seal the deal’ and push number 1.  

 

It says “I’m sorry that item is not available in that size’.

 

Why not let me know immediately after I’ve put in the color and size let me know?

 

Also an observation...it seems suddenly a size 2X is pretty much always sold out.  It’s crazy how often 2X is sold out.

 

I can sometimes wear a 1X.  There’s no problem ordering that size.

That's seems one of the disadvantages of phoning an order. And I can understand using that option if you don't have internet access, but if you shop online you could see instantly what color and sizes are available. Especially helpful for clearance items that often have little selection left.

I usually get that when adding it to my cart so I am well aware and can't go further thru the checkout.
