Re: Is it really that difficult??

It may be hard to believe, but there are still many people who do not have access to a computer.

Re: Is it really that difficult??

Last night, for example, Shawn interrupted the presentation to ask Isaac what was the best thing he ate over the weekend. She kept that going way too long, yammering on about some stupid recipe for pasta..."Did you add cream? What color pasta,? ", then gain with the cream, mushrooms,WW points......blah,blah,blah! Just sell me the clothes,Shawn!!!!

Re: Is it really that difficult??

One can just forget about getting information on what is being sold from Shawn,Amy, or shoes if it's Jane.  Why do these hosts think anyone cares about their banter?  IMO, these hosts are all failures when it comes to giving needed information.

Actually no, you can't get a lot of information on the website.  Sure you could get a 3 millimeter by 3 millimeter swatch of color that is barely a representation of the color it actually is.  Sure you could get the technical number of inches in dimension, but they often have very limited pictures online of it ON a model for things like jewelry or shoes.

For a host to go through colors/options and sizing before waxing poetic about the fine qualities of said product? I find very few hosts can do it even though that is the info we need to make a proper buying decision. It happens every Logo night no matter who is hosting (Amy, Sharon and yesterday Jayne who I had high hopes for.) I just watched a video with Albany presenting the Susan Graver TSV dress and she couldn't do it either.

C'mon QVC, train the hosts to do their job properly. Items are expensive and take time to receive. No one likes adding to either with returns.  Add to that the possibility of missing out on size and color while waiting for the host to go through selections. I know it's possible, I've actually seen Jill and Mary Beth do it.

Just as important, please show it ON a person right away.  They usually go through the colors/options first but that is often delayed by rambling and giggling as you point out.  I don't care how it looks on a hanger, I'm not buying it to look at it in my closet, I'm buying it to wear on my body.  Same thing for jewelry; I need to see it on a finger or in an ear for frame of reference.  Even shoes and handbags.  But they alwasy show the models dead last and by then my color and size could be sold out.

Re: Is it really that difficult??

This is one of the reasons I enjoy Alberti's presentations.  He gives a "tour" of each item, complete with details, in the way I remember being done when I first watched QVC in the 1990s.  Even though we tend to think most people have computers or mobile devices, it seems odd the tv presentations would rely so heavily on those as backups for prospective buyers... and as others have said, the online info isn't always complete or accurate.

The thing I don't understand is why they interperse the colors on the rack.  Keep the blues together, pinks, oranges, etc.  Show all colors FIRST, THEN this is bleached chambray, med chambray, and on and on.   just my own opinion.

Oh, my gosh, @tedEbear

I've said this for years.  I even posted it way back in the early 2000s in the original "Suggestion Box."

It helps SO much to see similar colors next to each other.

I agree with you.  Everyone who has watched even one show knows Q does this and isn't going to change so why would someone watch without having their tablet, laptop or pc running.
