Not an acceptable answer, IMO.  I shouldn't have to boot my computer to find out basic info about the on air item.  If Q is presenting an item on air, they should tell me what I need to know.  If I have to look it up myself via computer, it's likely that by the time my computer boots and I get to the website, the item or my color/size will be sold out.  It's not worth the hassle, IMO.

I agree with Nomless and therein lies the problem, from the consumer's POV.    I used to purchase clothing items at QVC and this was my frustration sometimes.  I just wanted to see all pertinent information first and then you can go on and on with whatever ramblings.

But the reason I decided that they don't care to change this is that the stuff sells out anyway.  Somebody else got it, you didn't, and they don't care because they sold the product.

@chickenbutt

and, resell the items "as is" when all the returns are processed!

I don't believe the business plan is to confuse the customer in order to make more by handling a return then reselling as is. If there was no loss involved for QVC  they would not cut off customers for excessive returns as a poster pointed out.

Re: Is it really that difficult??

How often do they start to show the colors, and spend 5 minutes on the first color, because the vendor has to say how they just love, LOVE the blue!  And look, if you got the blue pants from earlier . . . or how about with the brown, etc.  Mind you, I have no issue with them showing how the item coordinates with other items in the show, but do that AFTER you show all of the available colors!

The other thing that annoys me is when they put the same color on the front of the rack that the vendor or host is standing there wearing.  Let us at least see a couple of colors at once.

@SHIRAZ  This was my point above also.  The camera-person is trying to show is the items.  Don't stick other items into my view now while I'm trying to look carefully at the item being sold and see as much as I can about it to decide on it. Goldstein is notorious for sticking other items in front of the item

being shown and therefore obscuring it.  A whole lot of people are not "into" layering and I want to see how the piece looks by itself, because that is pretty much how I wear her things.

Show me how to put it together with other things when we get to the models or  at the rack once all the individual pieces have been shown by themselves, definitely NOT simultaneously to showing us each individual garment for sale.  We are trying to determine whether we want that piece, I'll put together outfits with it and/or style it once I make that initial determination.

   The thing I don't understand is why they interperse the colors on the rack.  Keep the blues together, pinks, oranges, etc.  Show all colors FIRST, THEN this is bleached chambray, med chambray, and on and on.   just my own opinion.

I can live with that.  That's way down my priority list of what they do wrong!

Personally, I've given up on expecting the hosts to perform in any way that most reasonable folks would expect and probably prefer. Clearly, they're in a world of their own that's either sanctioned or promoted by their bosses. No matter how much feedback is given about how the hosts present, both themselves and the merchandise, nothing seems to change, so one has to assume that it isn't going to.

You can, but you shouldn't have to... It's not so much of a problem for me because when I order here, I tend to do it online, but not everybody walks around with their phone attached to their hand or has their computer or other device within easy reach at all times. Regardless, the item details need to be provided succinctly and clearly by the hosts. It really should be more of a priority than it all too often seems to be.
