Wow,you really enlightened us with that sage advice;but whether or not that info is on the website is not the point.  The point is that hosts are spending too much  time yapping about the trivial stuff and not telling the potential buyers the important info needed first.  And let me say that, for some, finding the actual "click  here" for specified garment info might be a bit like reading a "Where's Waldo" book.....it is not that easy to find.

Re: Is it really that difficult??

Please hosts SHOW THE COLORS FIRST! I usually don't YELL but I have been saying this for years and it's getting worse and worse. I don't care what a brilliant design it is if it's not in a color I like forget it. How hard is that to understand? And a few lessons in manners and not all talking at the same time would be nice too. Give us (the viewers and customers) a break please.

If they want me to spend my money, I want to see the garment as "up close and personal" as I can  - on TV not in a photo.  As I posted out in the LOGO forum yesterday where we were discussing this, the host is standing there and can see the garments - we cannot.  I need to see all my color choices right off the bat so I can order, esp. LOGO which sells out very quickly.   They can chatter about the garment's features (which Lori G. goes on and on and on about) after I see all the color options, esp. since oftentimes her garments are colorblocked and I need to see which colors have been put together on each garment choice before she starts blabbing about seams, only one continuous piece of material used, how many inches the lace is (I can see if it's wide or not if they just show me the garments!), etc.    Jayne infuriated me yesterday during the presentation of one item when Lori interrupted her nonstop chatter and said "oops - I need you to get through the colors first" to which Jayne responded, 'Oh, it's OK" and let Lori continue about all the features before showing us the oclor options.   Well Jayne was standing in front of the rack and could see all of them - we could not.

I completely agree with @Debzzz 's  first post.  This needs to be addressed at QVC - let us see all the color options first before the vendor starts in on the garment's features and importantly, in Goldstein's case, before she starts covering up the garment being sold that the camera is zooming in on  with other garments she pulls out from the rack (not the ones being sold at the moment) to match up with the one the camera zoomed in on that I can no longer see because Lori is covering it up with some other garment in the show, not the one on air.  That should be stopped immediately so we can see the item the cameraman was trying hard to show us.  I love LOGO clothes but her shows are getting more and more frustrating to watch because we don't get all the product info we need before something in our size and color choice may sell out.

Jayne is the one who stopped the onair measurement info being given.

Totally agree with all the comments,

fabric info, sizing and colors then chit chat. Fabric info should be put on screen they never do that,

Was it really Jayne that stopped on air measurements? She is usually so thorough in her presentations. I actually thought it was LR?

Another thing that annoys me during clothing presentations is when they show a small corner of the garment when doing colors. Granted, it is often when an item has a zillion colors, but we still deserve to see the color of the whole garment. If I want to see a small area, I'll shop by catalog. Then we hear the squeaking of the hanger on the rack as they show us the colors.

One last rant - when are they going to stop using those big white plastic hangers? QVC sells the velvet ones. Those big plastic ones are horrible and cheesy.

Re: Is it really that difficult??

The thing that drive me nuts is when they do start going through the colors, they either get them all mixed up or say the color name, but then go into a whole big deal about describing how many different colors it looks like and by the time they're done, I don't have a clue as to what the real color actually is............so frustrating.

@Debzzz  This thread is very familiar to me.  Almost a repeat of our discussion yesterday in LOGO!

Yes, @Pearlee after our Logo thread discussion yesterday + watching the SG TSV video this morning with my Mom I was inspired to begin this thread and discuss in this suggestion box where the powers behind the scenes might see and act on it.

Then let's get rid of the hosts and save the $$ of their salaries and lower the prices!!  They are paid to give product info..not how many steps they took or what their cat ate or how religious they are..on and on.  I agree with you OP.

Another point I would add to the already excellent points made by others is that colors online are not as apparent as they are on TV.

For a host to go through colors/options and sizing before waxing poetic about the fine qualities of said product? I find very few hosts can do it even though that is the info we need to make a proper buying decision. It happens every Logo night no matter who is hosting (Amy, Sharon and yesterday Jayne who I had high hopes for.) I just watched a video with Albany presenting the Susan Graver TSV dress and she couldn't do it either.

C'mon QVC, train the hosts to do their job properly. Items are expensive and take time to receive. No one likes adding to either with returns.  Add to that the possibility of missing out on size and color while waiting for the host to go through selections. I know it's possible, I've actually seen Jill and Mary Beth do it.

That's why I rarely buy anything from them anymore.  I'm not missing it either. They don't seem to take any hints.
