First of all, I'd get rid of all the testimonial calls. Other things:
--Better, more diverse collection of jewelry. Not just bronze, resin and black spinel.
--Update fashion (to include more professional type clothes, right now too much Denim and co/LOGO and chintzy-cheap clothes), make the sizing consistent, and include more long pants
--Enough with the hourlong presentations of computers/vacuums/beds all weekend
--Bring in some variety. Even in the categories I like, get some new vendors. Get some new high-end handbags besides Dooney. Get some different cosmetics regularly besides tarte, IT and Mally.
Edited to add one more: I would be sure to show an item that is meant to be worn ON someone, actually on a model right away at the beginning of the presentation AND I would include pictures of the product on a model on the website. Jewelry, clothes, and shoes. If I am unable to catch a presentation, it is really difficult to put the item in context unless it is shown on a person. They are good about this for clothes but they never do it for shoes and jewelry.

And yes, I guess I'm yelling, because they can't seem to get it.
Case in point:
The original "How Smooth Boot Cut Jeans" - they never brought the originals back, they changed them drastically and still call them "How Smooth" - it's not the same jean. A229866
If they had brought this exact jean back, and added a bunch more colors, they would probably have sold out again, because if people are begging for more colors, they're going to buy them! So if everyone who bought these jeans originally, bought two or three more colors, they could have sold twice or three times as many. Is it so hard to understand that this means PROFIT?
I've seen this happen too many times -- they have a real "winner" and all they have to do is keep it in stock or bring out more colors to make a lot more profit. But no, they want to "improve it" ... they need someone to tell the PTB when to JUST LEAVE SOMETHING ALONE, don't try to change it, don't try to improve it, just keep it in stock and SELL IT!
Yes, this is a rant -- I'm on a roll today!
I would totally agree with this. They have several products that I have loved (been on auto delivery or ordered multiples), and I'm not the only one bc the product is top rated. but yet they go and either discontinue it or they make it 'new and improved' and completely ruin it. Yet there are many other mediocre items they continue to bring back year after year. I don't understand it.

You have 8,000 posts... one would infer from that, that you enjoy posting. and you don't HAVE to read the forums you know...you can shop at QVC without ever coming here.

I love Christmas but GEE TOO MUCH CHRISTMAS TOO SOON!...It actually keeps me from watching my fav channel...AND...HOW many times a day MUST you show TSV???...the Hosts must get so tired of it...I know I would...I love QVC but really it is getting a bit too commercial at the holidays for me...
‎11-02-2014 02:32 PM
1. More unique products, more variety in their programming---
2. Some of the presentations are getting way to long and I'm not just talking about the TSV.
I do not want to see the same ole stuff that is shown on infommercials or is readily available in local stores without QVC's high shipping costs....
And learn the meaning of the word NEW---a new version of a flashpad is STILL a flashpad....how about an actual different electronic game for example.....I'm tired of QVC adding a new color and calling it "NEW" it's the SAME item in a different color....

ITA--Examples: On clothes--- they change it with a totally different fabric, the quality is not the same, they change the cut, the sizing inconsistent...and then to add insult to injury they raise the price too!!!! On cosmetics--complaints are numerous about watered down formulas, and the makeup has change and just not the same...
And how many vacuums, blenders, computers/tablets can one use....OVERKILL. And the merchandise we like and want back and sells well always seem to get "this product is no longer available" when you try to re-order....something is definitely wrong here QVC!

Second, their gold jewelry inventory stinks. They can keep some inexpensive pieces but I'd start buying mid-range pieces, between the cheap chintzy stuff they buy now and Arte d'Oro. Third, I'd work on quality.
They can keep their bronzo and resin but sell it for what it is, costume. Don't brag about it being the big trend in Italy when friends from Italy say otherwise.
Well said about the jewelry Calmin...ITA......maybe their jewelry sales would pick up if they made the changes you suggested...

Shipping and handling charges! I can get free shipping and handling with a minimum order almost anywhere and QVC continues to charge a per item fee.

Less time on each product.........bring in new things on a regular basis. If you watch QVC regularly you know they sell the same products over and over and over.
Do broadcasts in other states. The live audience shows held at QVC are great but those of us at home may not have the opportunity to ever go up there. Do one show a month on the road.
