Re: Hosts that keep trying to wear a small top!

Some hosts wear clothes too tight. Loses the flow of the item. Models look more normal in their sizing because they are thin and the clothing lays nicely on them.

Re: Hosts that keep trying to wear a small top!

I usually try to see the host or model who is close to my size and if the item does not fit them well or look good, then I'm   not tempted to buy.

Agreed. The xxs doesn't work and detracts until I see it on Susan or the model. Then I see how the top or blazer should lay. I've worn her fadhions for work for past 10 yrs.😉

There's linking a more close fit, and there's "I'm in a size small
" <tug tug tug>

If you have to keep adjusting it, the size or style is not for you. You are not doing the garment, which you're trying to sell, any justice.

I think the reason JT is constantly tugging at her top is that it is not just that it is too

small in that area of her body ( around the waist and hips ) but it shows what is underneath....a protruding belly and "rolls" over the top of her pants..undergarments

would help with that but , the fact is, she looks SO MUCH BETTER in dresses !

Agree totally, it is just too much effort to keep tugging, so I change the channel when she is doing this. She does look better in dresses.

Re: Hosts that keep trying to wear a small top!

I have noticed some models who apparently see themselves on the monitor, pull at the bottom of their shirt to make it lay smoothly. Meanwhile, the vendor is commenting on the drape and how the material doesn’t cling or show lumps and bumps when it obviously does. I would hate to constantly adjust my shirt just for it to appear that way. Not practical. A larger size would definitely look more attractive.

I find it especially amusing when the hosts, and sometimes the models, are wearing an x-small or xx-small in a jean jacket and you can see as plain as day that there is NO WAY that jacket is going to close!

I just imagine what the item would look like on me.  I am thin but do have a pouchy tummy, so anything snug is a no go.  Most of the models are a size 2 or xs so if you think it will look like that on you you are mistaken.  Very few large size models.

@TheMemphisVette I do agree with you. Some people like more fitted clothing and other's like a loose fit, no right or wrong.

However, with that said, I have seen a couple times where the models clearly had pants on that were too tight. I understand some people like pants tighter than other people. But, in the presentations I saw, the pants were so tight you could see where the pants were bunching up in a not-so flattering way. The model had heavier legs and the pants were pulling at the seems. In fact, I believe there was a thread about this particular presentation.

Anyway, like you said, it's all in perspective. No right or wrong, usually.

Agree about some liking more fitted and some liking looser.  I fall into the "looser" category!

That is why I find reviews unhelpful when the reviewer says "it fits well."   Need more info!
