Re: Get Alberti on primetime

love Alberti. His is polished. Well mannered and professional. I love when he presents jewelry. Plus he has the most perfectly manicured hands. They look better than most of the hosts.

Alberti radiates class and dignity. He would be a welcome addition to more prime

time slots. He was obviously brought up well by his parents and seems to respect the vendors and customers. He does not shout over them. I bought a Lazy Boy chair from him because he described it so perfectly.

I liked Alberti the first time I saw him co-hosting a show, and he's become one of my favorites.   I echo all the positive comments on this thread, and I hope the PTB have taken notice of the frequent complimentary threads and posts about him.

      Nice thread, @Peoplearenuts!Smiley

@dooBdoo, Alberti is my favorite host and so I'm happy to see the number of positive threads about him in the forums. -- Much like yourself, I'm hoping the PTB notice all of the great threads about Alberti. He seems to be the only host that have received this outpouring of praise. Smiley Happy

Re: Get Alberti on primetime

Alberti has "savoir faire".  If I were in charge of programming, I would capitalize on his fresh appeal.  I would work with him to establish a new style of programming, one that is free of the current QVC formula which I (often) find slow moving, repetitive and lack luster.  His blog and facebook pages are filled with creative ideas.  Looking at his social media, I see he has a love of beautiful things.  From this, he gains credence in having the ability to sell me, his style.  I want him to have an avenue to do it. I would love a design show of fine items Alberti has selected and put together in a face paced, comprehensive, new format.   Please free Alberti and let him run.

I totally agree with you. I know they have him on TV to appeal to the younger audience but watching him is hard for me! I won't watch when he's on!

I am also an Alberti fan and admire his savoir faire.  He is also very professional and courteous to the vendors, which I feel are important qualities for hosts.  He is obviously warm and kind-hearted as evidenced by the way he dotes on his poodle pooches, Prince Charming and Coco Chanel.

He is also very comfortable in his own skin.  I remember watching a jewelry show he hosted with Carolyn Pollack when he first came to QVC. He remarked how much he liked a necklace and wanted to try it on. It was not a particularly embellished or fancy/frilly sort, just some southwestern inspired oxidized silver strung beads, and I wished he could have been true to himself and put it on.  Personally, I would prefer to see rings presented on the hand in lieu of a ring mandrel anyday, and with his nicely manicured hands, he could definitely pull this off.
