Ankle pants make one's legs look shorter. I don't know of any woman who wishes she had shorter legs.  Woman Surprised

 

This trend is great for manufacturers' profits. They can skimp on the amount of fabric that's used to make the pants.

I can so relate to your comments. Add me to the group that thinks ankle pants are a terrible trend (if in fact they are outside of QVC)  They look awful on the models and even worse when paired with a gaudy SG top.
