So it's the Autosave failing that causes the pink box to come up that says your request could not be processed?  It does always happen when i'm going back to correct my typing or pausing to compose my next thought.  I always thought it was erroring me out because I wasn't typing fast enough.  Or maybe it doesn't Autosave if there haven't been enough keystrokes witin a timeframe, and thus the message and the jumping.  Funny, as may times as I've seen that message I should be able to quote it verbatim.

@SHIRAZ, I know there's one message regarding the HTML code ("Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied.") which happens after we submit the post.

However, I think you're referencing a different one, and I'll try to capture it the next time I see it and post it a copy of it here.  It seems to indicate there's a problem while we're actually composing our post but I've noticed if I ignore it there seems to be no actual problem.

Might be a software glitch, but it seems to have no effect on our posts.

Yes @dooBdoo I've seen both error messages.  The HTML one I only see if I paste something into my reply.  It changes the code; I hit post and all is well (so far anyway.)  The other message that comes up ALL THE TIME, is the one in the big pink box that pops up on top of the reply box.  It says "Sorry, unable to complete the action you requested."  I keep typing and it goes away, but if i take too long, it comes back again.  (I get it on nearly every post I type, so it's not hard to catch and note the verbiage!) Smiley LOL

Just got it again!Smiley LOL

@SHIRAZ, I just saw the message I was thinking of.  While typing away, before I completed the post, in a pink box above the post I see:

"An Unexpected Error has occurred.  An Unexpected Error has occurred."

I say to my computer...  "Okay.  Okay." Robot LOL  And then I ignore it and submit the post, and there appears to be no problem.

I LOVE this feature!  I just typed out a whole post, with pictures, and when I submitted it, got a really strange message I've never seen before (I should have copied it, but didn't), and my post was gone!  So I was hopeful, and when I went to reply to that thread again, there it was... "Load" and it was back!  I would have been one unhappy camper if I had lost that whole post because it took me time to find the pictures that I posted, and then to try and remember exactly what I said... ?? happy smiley face emoticonHappy smiley animated emoticonhappy smiley face emoticon

I wanted to refresh this topic, because I think many posters are unaware that their posts are now saved as drafts while they're composing them.

It's a wonderful feature, and we don't have to worry about losing our posts if there's a glitch, or typing them up elsewhere (as a document on our computer/tablet) before we post them here.

Remember, the draft is available on the thread you've been posting on and also available in your profile (click on your name) in the left-hand column under "Autosaved Drafts."
