The Chiefs WRs are still dropping passes and the team is having too many turnovers
(4 fumbles and 1 interception)...Mahomes has to save the day 30 yds rushing 2nd on the team, ........Even Kelce got a frustration penalty......He needs to learn to "Shake It Off"...
Perhaps its just rust but they seem vunerable.....The Jags didnt take advantage of the opportunities they had, if they had, the game outcome would have been in their favor,,,they are a young team still growing......but headed in the right direction despite the loss!...But KC's 17 pts on offense isnt gonna continue to hack it in the AFC as time goes by........

How many TD passes did the Jags miss out on when their guy was just barely out of the endzone? Two, three, more? It seemed like half their drives ended with the receiver being just out of bounds. Fix that and they'd have won. And won easily.
The only issue with Parsons is he is their defense. If he goes down and given the way he plays he will at some point, they don't have a lot left behind him. And that lack of depth will get worse when they pay him. He makes nearly every play. He's a one-man wrecking ball, which is great when he's available. If and more likely when he gets hurt, things will get messier for them. When you build your whole defense around one guy, you need him to stay healthy the whole year. Parsons plays with reckless abandon, and he will get dinged at some point playing that way.

Anthony Richardson got a concussion on his second rushing touchdown when he was hit by Texan safety M.J. Stewart. According to the team, he did not intentionally set himself up for the hit, as he didn't see Stewart until it was too late.
Richardson is a mobile QB and will continue rushing as that is his style. Steichen needs to set up plays that bring out Richardson's talent yet try to protect him. Rushing QBs are more likely to be injured: Lamar Jackson is an example. Jalen Hurts, also, though he hasn't been rushing as much so far.
Kansas City was talking dynasty: they might put that talk on hold until they can show better performances.
Cowboys: pay Micah Parsons what he is worth. He does everything. Just get it over with and hand Parsons the DPOY award now.

The Eagles have swapped out punters, cutting Aaryn Siposs and replacing him with Braden Mann. The long week buys them time to make a change or two.
Which brings us back to Budda Baker who developed a mystery injury Friday and didn't play Sunday. Speculation is that he's being traded and the Cards didn't want him getting injured and spoiling the trade. To the Eagles? Maybe.

Kareem Jackson will be fined but NOT suspended for the dirty hit on Sam Howell.....even though this was Jackson's back to back incident....Hey NFL are you REALLY concerned about player safety....your fines alone dont seem to be stopping this!
Washington is auditioning Long Snappers--Cheeseman has had issues lately......

The Chiefs redid Patrick Mahomes contract to keep him among the highest paid QBs. He's now getting $210.6 million over four years.

I didn't realize this forum existed till semi recently. I live in Texas but I am a KC fan because of hometown boy Patrick Mahomes (but now love and appreciate the whole team).
KC continues to be tested early this season. This week they sashay down to Jacksonville to take on the Jags. The Chiefs' receivers forgot how to catch the ball last week. That's kind of a big problem. The Jags are a very solid team with few glaring holes. I'll take the Jags in this one.
Whew! You can say that again. I had to make sure we weren't watching HS football
That's ok. Pobody's nerfect. I took KC on this one (g)

Welcome to the NFL Forum!!! As long as the Chiefs have the "Magic Man" Mahomes they have a chance to win...but the problem with the WRs is making Patrick do even more! Glad to see another Texan with a favorite NFL team that's NOT the Cowboys! GOOD LUCK!
