Re: Thoughts on white sandals

@Enufstuff

Many thanks.  Since I now work in retail following teaching on linoleum I need a more substantially padded shoe.

The amount of speed walking I do at work is equal to a workout someone might do in tennis shoes.

Many Thanks 😊

@ECBG  You are very welcome. After being on my feet working

     for many years in Food Science, first in a hospital dietary department, then seven years in a chemical and analytical lab, and lastly administration in our school department for 32 years, I also need comfy padding in shoes. We lose the padding on the bottoms of our feet as we age. Plus I also have arthritis all through the bones in my feet. No more cute shoes with high heels for me. Smiley Sad

               Mostly I live in Birkenstocks now that I am retired. I love the soft footbed Birkenstocks. For a somewhat dressy sandal, I have had good luck with Clark's and Born. My navy

blue Clark's sandals are Lexi Marigold bendables and are cushiony. The sole is rubber, with a 1 3/4" wedge heel. The style is discontinued, but are available in limited sizes on Amazon and at Zappo's. There are other styles in navy also.

              There is a catalog called Footsmart that offers many

brands of comfort shoes. I've heard that Fly London are very good, but I have never tried them. Good luck with your quest.

Re: Thoughts on white sandals

I think it depends on the shoe.

In the summer, I like a lot of blush or sand colored shoes because I am so fair and I don't tan anymore... (no interest in laying out or doing fake) I think they look the best against my skin.  Also flesh colored shoes elongate the leg.
