Its not a cast off it just is a item that someone ordered and checked out and returned. If its perfect I would get over it and enjoy.

Send it back and you will regret it. You are not being taken advantage of.

I would keep it and wouldn't think twice about it.

If the answer is Yes then Imfail to see why you would not keep the QVC bag. if the answer is No then obviously you,are not interested in any bag from anywhere that is not in brand new condition and basically untouched by anyone and you should return it.
Exactly.
I think it's unreasonable to assume that no other human hands have touched "new" merchandise. Whether purchased in a store or online, none of us have any idea what's gone on before.
Unless we're talking about a custom-made wedding gown or something similar, I would never expect anything I purchase to be white-glove pristine. That's just not realistic. If it looks new and is undamaged, I think that's totally fine.
Today I received earrings in the mail. Have they been in someone else's ears? Maybe. But they look perfectly fine, so I will clean the posts with alcohol and wear them happily.

OMG. So the bag is in perfect condition, you love it..........um.............I guess I would keep it! I've gotten shoes (not on sale mind you) from Nordstrom that had been returned. They obviously hadn't been worn out but all the packaging/stuffing was missing. The shoes were in perfect shape so guess what???? I kept them!

Those would be some powerful Cooties that could survive the return to QVC, then being repackaged, after who knows how long, back in inventory, and then the shipping time to reach you. I'd be worried too
Seriously, if you have Cootie fear, I think you'd be much more concerned about buying the bag that has set on a retail display, for who knows how long, being handled by who knows how many people, every day. Not like the sales associates come along and wipe them down with disinfectant!

As long as it's perfect, I see no cause for concern or reason to label it "second class" merchandise.Personally, I think returns should be sold in their outlet stores. I'd want a brand new, still-in-the-wrapping bag. You can call CS and ask for a partial refund. Just say you received a returned bag; don't elaborate.
When you place an order on line you can't inspect the merchandise, therefore all items should be brand, spankin' new.
IMO, of course.

Trust me, QVC's profit margin is just fine, and if they quit sending used bags as new, it would still be just fine.
Regarding cooties, I clean EVERY new bag I buy, store or QVC, just as I wash all new clothes before wearing them, new sheets before using them, new plates and cookware, etc., etc.
Regarding buying a bag in a store that has been handled and is maybe a return, the difference is you can see it and touch it and then decide if you want to buy it. We don't have that option with QVC. When we buy new, we have to trust they will send us new. I don't know why that difference is so hard to understand.
The bottom line here is that QVC should not be sending out used customer returns as new. There is still quit a good markup on the "as is" bags. Other than HSN, no other online retailer I purchase from has ever sent me used merchandise as new, and they all seem to be doing just fine. Can you imagine receiving a used bag from Nordies or Macy's? Have you ever heard of that happening? QVC should be no different.

Hers is all sealed up in plastic and tissue, yours is in a plastic bag with no stuffing and no tissue protecting the handles and hardware. Aren't you just a little miffed?
More than a little.
